We decided to meet in person at a restaurant to discuss the book and I came prepared with my notes and questions, etc. I was so excited to meet the other ladies in the group. Well, EVERYBODY STOOD ME UP! Once home I sent a group email saying something to the effect of "Forget you know me!" So I have no good memories associated with As I Lay Dying. =) But the good news is, I quickly found an already established book club and here I am 5 years later and the book club girls are my Florida BFFs.
