Happy Wednesday!
I’m giving away one Magic Bullet to Go this afternoon to a lucky reader. This giveaway is sponsored by me, myself and I…just because I think both Magic Bullets and y’all are pretty awesome. Plus it’s Wednesday…and we all need a little something fun to get us over the hump!
To enter to win, just leave a comment here telling me what you would make in your Magic Bullet if you won. I’ll pick a random winner Friday night at 10pm PST.

March 16, 2011 at 2:53 pmI would love to have a new blender that’s compact and can take it anywhere with me. Smoothies are one of the many things my toddler and I make together. She enjoyed putting any fruit and drinkable-veggie we can think of inside a blender. She used to hold her hands and arms on the top while I switched the on-button, as a way to “help momma in the kitchen.” The smile on her face on hearing the vibrations from the blender mixing our fruits into her favorite color of pink. I would love to do that again!
Paula

March 16, 2011 at 3:32 pmI make my own bread and came up with a recipe called “honey-coconut whole wheat bread.” I use honey to replace sugar and coconut oil to replace margarine or butter as coconut is far healthier and adds an amazing flavor.
The recipe calls for blending pure honey, molasses, sea salt, and coconut oil before adding to the yeast mixture and then adding the flour.
I think the “bullet” would be perfect for blending the main liquid ingredients perfectly.
I am a 35 time + marathoner and have been in 14 Ironman races and like to eat well.
You can see my recipe in all it’s healthy splendor here>>> http://tinyurl.com/45ajpsp

March 16, 2011 at 4:49 pmHi Jenna! I just wanted to tell you that I’m pretty sure you’re my secret long-lost twin. I’m in my last semester of law school and dream of one day going to culinary school at night just to learn how to be a better chef/baker. And you read all the same books I do. So we’re pretty much soulmates (in a very non-stalkerish way) even though you don’t know me.
So I would make my version of a Shamrock Smoothie for St. Pattie’s day if I had an awesome magic bullet! Thanks for all of the wonderful recipes every day! (Your lemon brown sugar chicken is my absolute favorite)
Stacie @ Imperfectly Healthy

I don’t know if she actually meant to steal it or if all of our stuff got mixed up, but either way I am now magic bullet-less and very sad. I’d use it to make fresh salsa pretty much every single day.
Although, I’ve basically memorized the informercial for the thing, so I could make pancakes, muffins, smoothies, nachos, chocolate mousse, sorbet, etc!

March 16, 2011 at 10:01 pmGreat giveaway, Jenna! Umm, I don’t own a food processor, can’t afford a Vitamix and my blender is a pain to use, clean, put away and clean (did I mention clean?). So now we have nothing to make delicious smoothies with! There are people coming from California to here all the time, so no worries on getting it here. And i lived/live in the East Bay and will be there this summer, closer to you. Its fate.
Vanessa @ Project Zen
March 16, 2011 at 10:52 pmI would use mine for making smoothies or whipping up a quick pesto for my pasta. I enjoy finding new ways to make healthier alternatives on some of my favorite childhood dishes and I’m finding that a lot of these ways have found me in the kitchen learning how to cook and experiment with new techniques. For better or for worse, a lot of these techniques do create a lot of dishes which can often leave me washing, scraping and rinsing dishes and pots for an hour. I cannot afford the “luxury” of a dishwasher, unfortunately.
If I am picked to win the Magic Bullet in your giveaway, I will thank you for helping me cook with the added convenience (of less mess and probably less dishes) used in my kitchen!

March 17, 2011 at 7:56 amOh man! A Magic Bullet would change my life for the better, no questions asked. I love my big old Cuisinart (a gift from my mom’s kitchen) so much that I couch my kitchen habits in terms of BC (before Cuisinart) and AC (self-explanatory). If I had a Magic Bullet, I tell you what, I’d be grinding up some almond meal, flax meal, some hearty green smoothies (or bean/lentil/beet/whatever random tasty thing from my fridge smoothies), some purees, soups, what have you. Oh, I hope I win!

March 17, 2011 at 3:09 pmI would make hummus! By far, one of my fav foods EVER. Sometimes I mix it up by adding anything from sundried tomatoes to feta (kind of makes it a cross between a cheese dip and hummus), but my basic recipe is a winner – chick peas, lemon juice, paprika, cumin (such an underrated spice!), garlic, extra virgin olive oil, and sea salt! Delishhh 🙂
Kelly
