Wow….the WordPress app is reason enough to buy the iphone itself! So good for situations when I’m not around my laptop and the photo quality is pretty darn good. Check out this photo I took with my phone on the plane!
That, my friends, would be heaven on earth in the form of a jambon gruyere croissant from Tartine (aka ham and cheese croissant). Seriously, the last ham and cheese croissant that I had was in Paris, three years ago, and this might have even rivaled that. I felt a bit gluttonous enjoying my HUGE flaky, buttery, cheesy pastry on the plane while others hoarded their pretzels but hey…a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do. I actually left a wee bit of this…I just couldn’t finish it….it was so rich. But so good. I probably won’t have another for a few years now but I’m glad I got it out of my system 😉
My flight to Texas was pretty uneventful other than the spontaneous Photo Booth shoot (no one was sitting next to me to observe my goofiness. darn). I wrote, I read, I ate buttery croissants.

And saw snow from above!

How cool! I’m actually going on a ski trip with some friends to Tahoe in a few weeks and I can’t wait to see BIG mountains!
Onward home!

Your picture of snow from above reminds me of a funny story. I had to fly to Boston one winter, and flew over some frozen bodies of water. As a Floridian, I could not figure out why the water looked so cloudy and determined that they must be polluted! Silly me 🙂

Tahoe is awesome and absolutely breathtaking. I assume based on your driving distance you’re hitting North Shore perhaps NorthStar? Gorgeous. If you end up at Sierra at Tahoe be sure to order a Margarita in the West Bowl. Outstanding.

Hi Jenna! I love the Lululemon hoodie! I actually went to a lululemon store for the first time last week and LOVED everything in there! So expensive, but quality and super comfy. I ended up leaving with a pair of cropped running spandex pants…but tried on multiple hoodies that I wanted! I’m sure it kept you super comfy on your trip.

P.s. I’m a vegetarian but that ham & cheese on a croissant looks AMAZING. I may consider having a nibble if it were starring me straight in the eye 😉
