Exercise/ Fitness/ Lunch

All The Necessary Food Groups

Good day!

Yoga was great today although I still can’t do things that involve bending my knees very much after my little boo-boo last week. That rules out child’s pose, crow, tree and camel. But I can do lots of downward facing dogs and chatarungas! I’m SO (!!!!) excited to go to yoga grooves on Friday morning at my old studio and practice with Jen and Patrick (Court, we’ll miss you!!!). I also am planning on doing some runs down Bayshore. Funny how we take things for granted when they are right in front of us and then when we leave, we realize just how beautiful our surroundings were!

I had a well balanced lunch post-yoga:

Let see…I think I got all the food groups in. Protein in the form of a Quorn/gruyere patty with sriracha, fruit, carbs and gummi bears! I actually ate another cookie after this….these SCM cookies are just waaaay too good to stop at one! 😉
I’m checking things off my to-do list this afternoon. Still to come—paying my bills, cleaning the house and finishing packing before its back off to the studio to work the desk for a few hours before dinner.
Check ya later!

Jenna- so excited for your trip home! I know how close you are to your family, and you have been so brave to leap into your new life on the other side of the country 🙂
And Haribo gummi bears= heaven. Every now and then I too get a craving for a chewy candy and just buy a bag and go to town. I support!

Okay…..do you literally only eat one gummy bear, or is that the only that made it to the pictures?!? I could only eat one for about 2 seconds, followed urgently by a whole handful all at once.

Jenna, do you like to cook and bake as much as writing and yoga??? I assume that’s the focus of your book? I love that you baked stellar cookies – do you spend much time with this then ?
