Along for the Ride

Good mornin’!

I have a few things to say. First of all, last night after I blogged I ended up eating two cookies at home and then going to a business dinner with the boy and eating like three desserts and a glass of wine. I just thought you should know. Sorry, but when I’m faced with strawberry semifreddo everything starts to go downhill fast. Not that I’m even the biggest fan of strawberry (I prefer chocolate), but I do love me some good semifreddo.

I’m also finally going to the doctor at 1:30! By 2:00 today we will know the great mystery of the spotted tonsil. I told my mom I didn’t want to go, but she said we could go to La Crema after so I relented.

Just polished off some protein oats in a jar and getting ready to head to Peet’s to caffeinate before a day of doctors, Wal-Mart, Target, Trader Joe’s and World Market. My mom has decided to make my apartment the magnum opus of her interior design degree and I don’t question these things. I just go along for the ride, offering solo concerts of Steady as the Beating Drum when necessary.

My mom was the same way. I was happy with just a couch and TV, never actually thinking that a color scheme or “theme” should be implemented into window fixtures and throw blankets. But hey…I just went with it and we compromised. It made her feel wanted 😉

Gah, I LOVE the Valencia PB or AB. SOOO amazing. I’m almost out…need more! PS- I played flute through high school too. So nerdy, but all of my friends since middle school came from band so I couldn’t stop. Plus, I was balancing the nerdy side with a lot of athletics. And I still have that Pocahontas music book somewhere at my parent’s house.
