Another Weekend Over

Hello there!

This morning I had a great sweaty cardio workout at the gym! And when I say sweaty, I mean SWEATY! I think all the wine drinking this holiday weekend was like seeping through my clothes—sorry if that’s gross! I did my usual 40 minute cardio circuit this morning. I started with 15 minutes running on the treadmill (6.0 speed) then moved over to cycling for 15 and finished with the arc trainer for 10. 440 calories blasted!

After the gym, I snacked on my favorite Luna Tea Cake

I didn’t think I would like the orange blossom flavor but I LOVE it! I might even like it better than the macadamia nut kind. It’s super super chewy and has a real orange taste….not a “fake” orange taste like some orange flavored things can have. I think I love these tea cakes so much because of their chew….they have the best texture of a bar I have tried yet. You can really sink your teeth into it! Too bad I can’t find these in Vero Beach!

Back at the condo, I packed up and showered and Ryan and I head out to our favorite brunch spot: Daily Eats. I got a breakfast bowl that included scrambled egg whites, feta cheese, kalamata olives, tomatoes and green peppers served on top of a big bed of baby spinach.

It was DELISH! definitely my new favorite there. I heart feta cheese so much! Ryan and I also split a whole wheat blueberry banana pancake 😉

I’m going to stay another hour and watch my bible study on Ryan’s computer because I can’t watch it on mine since I have a mac. Then, its back on the road and back to reality!

See you tonight!

    Hey Jenna,
Do you like your Mac? I’m thinking of getting a new laptop and trying to talk my husband into getting me a Mac for Christmas. He is a dedicated fan of all things PC. Would you buy another Mac?
PS – Love the feta too. Your breakfast bowl looks amazing.

Camera question everyone! My Canon SD750 unfortunately broke this weekend when I dropped it :(. Canon was not very helpful either. They said that because there was a small scratch on the front of the camera they would not repair it under warranty which is a big bummer. For that reason, I wouldn’t recommend buying Canon. But what kinds of digital cameras do you all recommend? Especially those of you who are food bloggers and take pictures every day! I’m looking for one preferably under $200 that is reliable and just a regular handheld size (not like a digital SLR, professional type). Thanks for your advice!

Do those tea cakes have chocolate in them? I read the label at Whole Foods yesterday and saw “cocoa power” so I didn’t buy them. Is that the same thing as chocolate? Is tht a stupid question?!?!? Chocolate gives me migraines so I stay away from anything I think MAY contain even a trace of chocolate!

I still have to try those tea cakes-I’m always afraid they’d never fill me up! But I did see those Vitasoy Holiday drinks at my grocery store today-I know you raved a/b the peppermint- I got the eggnog one. OH.MY.GOSH. I’m sad there’s only 8 servings in a box!!!;) I’m considering stocking up….Have you tried it? Either way thanks for the tip!

    Kate,

I haven’t tried that one…mainly because I’m not an eggnog fan! I’m sure its yummy though if you like the flavor!

    Fancy,

YES there is chocolate in it. Don’t drink it! I don’t want you to get a migraine!!! 🙁

    Heather McD,

I LOVE MY MAC. I switched over to apple about 8 years ago and never looked back. I could never ever ever EVER have a PC again. I’m a total mac girl! I have a 2006 MacBook and it still works like a dream….even after dropping it in Europe and losing all my data, which was my fault because I didn’t back anything up. AppleCare takes care of everything and fixed the little guy right away for me.
