Barre3 Challenge {Giveaway!}

December 26th

You guys know by now how much I love barre3 online workouts! I completely credit them to helping me stay in shape during pregnancy and bounce back after. I haven’t gotten to go to a real live yoga class in forever, so right now barre is the only exercise {other than lugging my heavy baby around} that I’m doing right now. And for those of you who don’t believe you can get a real workout at home….just try it!! I squeeze in 30 minute online workouts during naptime and feel better all day. I have definitely seen results postpartum from doing this form of exercise and I absolutely stand behind it in any way, shape or form.

All that is why I’m excited to announce a new challenge that barre3 is bringing! I’ll be participating in this challenge and hope y’all will too. Starting January 5th, barre3 is hosting a four-week, results-oriented Challenge that includes barre3 workouts, healthy recipes, and unprecedented support from their founder Sadie Lincoln and her team of experts. Every week participants will:

-Do four 60-minute workouts either at one of our local studios or online in your living room {that’s me}.

-Do one 10-minute online workout

-Try one healthy barre3 recipe

I think it’s a great way to ring in the new year and we could all use a little shaping up post-holiday, right?

ELR 2

When you sign up for the Challenge, you get a lot of goodies! Think of it as a challenge swag bag including a personal tracking system, a barre3 Challenge glass water bottle, a barre3 Challenge tote, weekly Challenge emails, direct support from barre3 Founder Sadie Lincoln via Live Q+A sessions, educational podcasts, and more. Oh, and you also will get weekly 10-minute online workouts and weekly seasonal recipes. I can personally vouch for the recipes. I hear they are pretty good. πŸ˜‰

Now for the giveaway!

Three winners will receive unlimited access to barre3’s exclusive Challenge, one month of free online workouts, plus barre3’s signature Challenge kit {note what’s included in that above}.

It’s a pretty awesome way to get started! I seriously don’t know where I’d be without barre3. It really is incredible and the team behind it is made up of wonderful people who I consider my friends.

my goals for 2015 is to become a faster, stronger runner. I was elated when I set a new PR this year, crushing my previous time by almost 5 min. I know I owe a lot of that to the barre3 videos I did several times a week. I hope to continue using barre3 as a method of cross training and building stronger legs so that my time can continue to drop.

We plan to be strict about it for at least a month and then allow ourself treats every now and then. I also want to work harder at getting exercise in. With two little ones, it is hard to find the time and walking outside doesn’t happen as much anymore because of the cold weather! I’ve been doing barre3 off and on for awhile and it never fails to give a good workout!

My goal is to focus on my all-around fitness. I am running the Boston Marathon in April but I want to make sure that as I increase my running I continue strength training, stretching and core work even if it means a cut a run a little short to work in the rest.

I tried going to Barre3’s site but it’s not explicitly stated. How would someone get more details on how to buy into “The Challenge”?

And my fitness goals for next year are to increase the number of barre classes I get to a month. I too credit the system for helping me bounce back post-baby, and now that my daughter is 16 months old, I’m surprisingly (and without any intent) 8 pounds under my pre-baby weight which has been such a welcome surprise! I was a yogi for years and all during my pregnancy, and I was so humbled by how little core strength I had when I started back to working out. I know regular yoga and the addition of barre have helped me to feel even better than I did before I was pregnant!

I’m keeping the definition of “create” broad to include things like art and music and writing, yes, but also creating healthy and interesting meals, and creating a healthy mind and body. My hope is that these things that all feed my soul will become second nature.

    2. Lose the last of the baby weight by the time the “baby” is 18 months (or even 20 mo)

My fitness goal this year is to do something different for my body…something kind. I’ve been in the gym since I was 15, throwing weights around and abusing my body. Since I’ve had my daughter, I notice that my body isn’t responding to the same “hard” exercise it used to. I want to create long, lean, healthy muscles that can allow me to be active with my child will into my forties and beyond. I’ve been so drawn to Barre classes – this would be a dream for me – to be able to do this from the comfort of my own home, while she’s at school. Pick me, pick me! πŸ™‚

I had a baby 7 mths ago and need to increase my workouts – to lose weight but also to increase strength.

I’ve been doing barre classes in person for a few years and the classes have been amazing, but I’m started to look into a slightly cheaper option. The videos and online workouts seem like a great option!

My fitness goals this year are to finish my second pregnancy strong! I’m 20 weeks now and have stopped jogging for now because I seriously can’t not pee myself when I’m bouncing like that.. the sad truth! Barre3 seems like a great way to get stronger during pregnancy.

Finding a way to workout at home! I have a 3 year old and we spend most of our time together so it’s hard for me to get to classes. Even though I walk when I can I really need cardio and yoga that I can do at home.

I love barre3! I was introduced to them a little over a year ago when I bought the 28 to Great program on a Living Social deal. I love their approach, how many modifications there are (which was great for when I was injured), and the spirit of barre3. I wish there was a studio near me, though I do find the DVDs very convenient. Haven’t tried online yet, though.

To get stronger! I workout consistently, but I’d really like to be able to do a “real push-up” and do burpees for extended amounts of time without getting winded.
