Bright Sunshine

Hey!

Today has been a good day so far, you think? I can’t complain…the weather is phenomenal, all my windows are open and I found some of my books from home that I forgot I had packed hidden in the trunk of my car.

Also, unknowingly I did the HARDEST Dave Farmar yoga podcast. Buyer beware: it’s the 75 minute one from 4/5/09. I think I blogged about it back when I did it for the first time…and it killed me but then the next day I went back for round two and conquered it. It’s filled with dolphin poses, forearm planks and forearm stands…..trust me, you will feel the burn. I usually only do 60 minutes of this then call it a day.

lunch was…..

Hummus and cheese on sourdough bread with a pear and……..

Dude, this stuff is awesome. I keep swigging it straight from the container in the fridge. That’s the awesome part about living by yourself……YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT!!!!

More writing this afternoon, a walk in the sunshine and a new women’s bible study tonight. Yay for new friends!

I love Amazing Grass, oh yes I do! I love it so much that I decided to partner with the company and take over their social media and brand advocacy. This really doesn’t have much to do with my personal blog but I just wanted to share! I believe in the product wholeheartedly and am excited to work with these guys. Love that grass!

New True/Slant article is finally up! Beans, beans, beans…..

Other awesome things about living by yourself: spilling the last few bites of ice cream (out of the carton, btw) on your shirt and not even having to bother to change it, because no one is going to see you anyway. Not good things about living by yourself: when the rent check comes due.

I remember that podcast! I’ve repeated all of Dave’s classes multiple times, and I try and stay clear of anything around April. He was tougher than tough. I usually only do 60 minutes as well.

Enjoy the single, living on your own life. It is definitely something I’m looking forward to as I get older.:)

I LOVE that cider! Oh my gosh it’s addicting. Trader Joe’s is wonderful, cheap, and everything is just awesome. Glad you’re enjoying yourself so much, and congrats on the Amazing Grass news!

I really see a huge difference in your words and ‘attitude’ (if that’s what you wanna call it :P) since the turning point in your life, and I’m so happy for you! You just seem so bright and happy, and even when stressful situations arise, you take it, make the best out of it, and move on. Thank you for inspiring me to do the same. It really helps to read your blog and realize that balance and happiness in life is so achievable, despite all of the twists and turns.

    Happy Wednesday!

BTW re Amazing Meal—I used to use ‘Alive’ also a protein powder with superfood [green/veg/fruits] base. Would put it in OJ/w cut up fresh fruits/nuts/maybe a bit of yogurt for breakie…& felt like a million bucks…tons of energy, so did more exercise, then stopped going to Whole Foods, for TJs instead which doesn’t carry it. Since haven’t used don’t feel as energetic or look as healthy, makes a big dif in hair, skin, nails.
