hi everyone!
Bikram was great this morning. Its sooo much better when its cold outside because then going into a toasty, heated room is heaven! I’m always cold anyways though so no matter what, I just love it! When I got home I snacked on some almonds before showering and getting ready—
After getting ready, I biked the 3 1/2 miles over to Ryan’s and then we went to Tijuana Flats for lunch. I had a regular sized chicken and black bean whole wheat burrito—the “power light” option, which means they used only lowfat cheese and (in my case) no sour cream. I hate sour cream!!
I forgot to tell them no chips…..oops! haha I was secretly happy that I forgot because they do have really yummy chips there. I ate about half of them and most of Ryan’s rice and beans along with my burrito.
I’m always surprised that I’m never THAT full after eating at TF. I think its because I always order the regular sized burrito and, to be honest, it’s quite small! Its the smallest of the three size options and even though I wouldn’t want to order something larger because I probably would get TOO full, the regular is teeny and I always eat Ryan’s rice and beans to finish filling me up.
Ryan and I are just running errands for the rest of the day. I’m trying to stay as active as possible so I can have an early bed time. Haha 🙂 Not sure what’s on tap for dinner yet……
Enjoy your day!

January 18, 2009 at 12:52 pmHi Jenna,
I wanted to say huge congratulations. It must feel beyond victorious to be a “real live chef.” You food has looked so delish the last few days. I am so jealous of TJs. There are no good mexican restaurants in ny, well maybe la esquina, but that’s about it! Congrats and best wishes to successful future!

January 18, 2009 at 12:56 pmHa – we had very similar mornings Jenna. I did a Power Yoga class this morning at the Hot Yoga studio here in town and then ate a homemade wrap afterwards. 🙂 Sadly, I didn’t have any yummy chips to eat with mine. I’m with ya – there is nothing like a warm yoga studio on a cold day. Enjoy the rest of your day, and I hope you’re able to get to bed early!
