Good evening
Tonight was the beginning of a very successful foodie weekend.
Totally normal.
Let’s back up.
I attempted semi-healthfullness before heading out tonight and made some kale, cucumber, parsley, celery and klwi juice (stocking up on my GREEN)
I headed with Kevin to Charlie Palmer’s house (that would be THE Charlie Palmer!) to hang out with Bryan (from Top Chef) and a few other awesome people for drinks. Check out the view!
And then we headed to Scopa to meet Hardy for some gooooooood eatin’. I was a lucky girl with two dates from the ATL!
We started off with some delightful nettle creation…it tasted almost like a quiche married a flan. In a good way.
Lamb tongue!
Grilled calamari!!! (my faaaaavorite…..sorry for the blurry picture; I was just so excited to eat!!)
Meatballs!
Wild boar!
Pasta from the heavens above!
Yummy indeed.
After dinner we decided to rally the troops and head to Cyrus for dessert and a cocktail. But really, there’s no rallying when it comes to Cyrus. There’s running.
I had the tiramisu and it ROCKED my world.
There were also a few mights of a chestnut souffle….
(that’s green tea ice cream!)
There were also a few sips of sherry but I discovered I’m just not a huge fan. The boys had old fashioned but after my last experience with bourbon at Cyrus, I drank water.
My jammies + Dexter + bed are going to feel SO GOOD….night!

Un-freakin’-real. Really?! COME ON! I’m making a pie for dinner at a neighbor’s house and you are just chilling at Charlie Palmer’s with the entire Bravo lineup. I can’t wait to see what this weekend has in store for you.
Sonoma County — the dining hall for King & Queens.
Oh, I like your turquoise iPhone case : )
Wowzer that looks like some fancy food..!! The only thing that appeal though is the tiramius
Btw, I’m still loving your (not so new) hair – it’s gorgeous!
What a night!!!!! A foodie’s dream
Hope you’re nice and comfy now. Night!
I absolutely LOVE your hair color! It looks amazing on you!
Yummy! Looks like the whole “not eating meat for Lent” thing is just completely out the window now, eh?!
You look so pretty! Blond, brunette, it doesn’t matter, you’re just gorgeous.
It makes me hate you a tiny bit. (ha)
What an amazing time you had yesterday! Amazing food with awesome people! A foodie’s dream for sure. Can’t wait to see what else you have in store this weekend!!

Wow that’s pretty unreal. What an awesome night! Food looks interesting and delicious!
Wow, all that food looks delicious!!! I am so jealous. Do you always split all the meals when eating out? Generally when I go out whoever I go with just gets their own meal and I get mine….it seems a lot more fun to share and try a lot more things!!
You sure you wanna leave California!? LOL Have a fantastic weekend!
Your life is crazy cool. Charlie Palmer’s house? Nice! Glad you had a great night.
PLEASE TELL US ALL HOW YO GET YOUR HAIR SO INCREDIBLY SHINY !!! YOU”VE GOT A LOT OF COMMENTS ON YOUR HAIR……….IT’S BEAUTIFUL? IS IT ALL THE GREEN JUICES ?
Terri,
haha!! I just use good hair products….and eat healthy. I use Aveda products and always end my showers with a freezing cold rinse for extra shine.
Delish, fabulous, unreal. I think some of the best cuisine is right out where you are! So fab.
All I can think now when I read your posts is- Paris Paris Paris!
Can’t wait to live vicariously through you!
Besides being jealous of the food…you were hanging out with Brian and Kevin!! They were my favorites from top chef (and eli)

Could totally see you doing that!
Sounds like an amazing night, and I might have a slight case of envy
I also have a turquoise case for my iphone! Is it hard having amazing days like this and then knowing you wont be back after Paris? I started reading your blog right when you and Kevin became BFFs. Who IS this girl hanging with top chef contestants
Brian is just the sweetest guy i bet?! eee tell us about who else you met!
Absolutely reeedonkulous. I want that meatball dish in my face right now. Pasta too. Ugh. I’m gonna need to think up something amazing for tonight now to satisfying all the cravings you’ve given me! Ha!

Oh my gosh that food looks great. I’d love to try that wild boar. Looks like you had an awesome time.

foodie heaven fo’sho!!
Good call on the green juice before that feast! The tiramisu looks deconstructed or something (I learned that term on Top Chef).
Do you have an iphone case to match every outfit?
Foodie overload! Looks like your night was a total blast
I love your tattoo, btw. Totally fierce. Does it have any special significance to you/did you get it for a specific reason?
i dont think there exists a bad way for a quiche to marry a flan. i want in on that wedding reception
You look so beautiful, Jenna!! <3
oh my how fun! all the food looks amazing…….and the people look like so much fun
Wow, I am so incredibly jealous of you right now for multiple reasons, but mainly because you got to meet Bryan. Not gonna lie- I have a serious secret crush on him. Have a blast this weekend as we all live vicariously through you!
Oh, and I am loving all the cycling updates as I am an avid cyclist. Biggest advice- when you are riding up a steep hill, tuck your pelvis under on the bike seat. Almost like your are tucking your butt. It sounds weird, but helps!
So so jealous! I love Top Chef!!!
Amazingly wonderful experiences you enjoy. You are certainly living life to the fullest. So wonderful to see. Thanks for sharing! Love Top Chef particularly the Kevin/Bryan season.
Amazing! What’s Charlie’s favorite wine?!
I think it’s funny that so many of us commentors say we’re “jealous” of your life. I mean..all everyone means is just that they’d love to do some of the things you get to experience, but it’s not like they were just handed to you. I think it’s great that you’ve EARNED these experiences through hard work. We can all learn from you that hard work really does pay off. Keep it up!
Absolutely Amazing Jenna!! I am so jealous right now! I can’t believe you are hanging out with the Top Chef lineup once again…….and Charlie Palmer! You lucky girl you!!

Break out the mummu!
Everything looks awesome — what a great weekend kick-off.
ok – i am seriously SO JEALOUS right now. everything looks incredible. i just ate at Volt this past Saturday – and took a picture of Bryan’s back in the kitchen. Can you ask him if that was him? ha!
i’m so jealous of your top chef connections – and of all that delicious food you ate last night
Those guys look hilarious and they food looks and sound amazing. I bet it was an awesome time!
WOW! I’d say the move to California was worth it just for the TOTALLY AMAZING culinary experiences you’ve had. My mouth is watering from your pictures!
I love your blog and I love to read about your food adventures, but I would love to know more about the food and how it tastes!!!!! What does wild boar taste like, how was it cooked? What did the quiche/flan taste like, what was it made out of? Why was the calamari your favorite?
I love food and I love to read about the tastes via others.
I love you so much. I read your blog everyday, and I think you are so wonderful… but. everytime you say “twas” i cringe so bad. I wish you didn’t say that. I am sorry to be rude. I just wanted you to know.
xoxo
First of all you look gorgeous and glowing. Second of all thank goodness you have morals cause I would be all up on that volt bro!
