Coffee for Wine

I hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday night and its as relaxing as possible! I’ve been procrastinating studying but I’m about to get there, I swear!

My pita for lunch filled me up beyond belief and the only thing I snacked on this afternoon were some grapes! That NEVER happens seeing as I’m always a hungry beast about an hour after I eat. This pita was stuffed with hummus and avocado goodness though and the magical healthy fats and protein really did their job!

And and look what surprise came in the mail for me today!! Fun new books! I’m super excited about these, especially Tosca’s workout book! I only quickly skimmed through it, but it outlines tons of exercises and also includes a dvd. I’m always in desperate need of new exercises with my tiny gym here, so this will be perfect! I will let you all know more about these books as I use them! 🙂

After I got back I did a quick hit to Super Target for some groceries. Notice that the load is definitely getting lighter here! I can’t believe I move in two weeks….I have to eat my entire kitchen first! 😉 I desperately wanted to buy cool new things at the store, but in reality, I need to eat what I have before the packing begins. I still have a lot to go in the freezer. I did exchange my coffee money for wine this week though! Come to think about it, I don’t mind English Breakfast and I would rather have my faaaaavorite Beaujolais with my meals! =)

I heart this wine so much. It is the absolute closest to the “table wine” I drank in Paris every night with dinner. Very light and fruity with minimal tannin. And…it’s only ten bucks! Can’t beat that!

For dinner tonight I made a cleaned up Southern feast with a Gardenburger Riblet and some Annie’s mac & cheese.

This is one cup prepared mac & cheese. SO delish and necessary on Sunday nights! 🙂

And for dessert, I had a chobani with some dark chocolate chips:

This girls gotta hit the books! Perhaps I should have another glass of Beaujolais while I study?! Haha just kidding ;). I think I’ll make some herbal tea instead….see you in the morning!

That wine is one of my favorites too! I picked up a bottle last night for $9.49. Can’t beat it! I’ve been wanting to read some of Tosca Reno’s books. I’ve always found her to be very motivating, and I like that she has done this cookbook of kid friendly recipes.

Gorgeous green grapes! How’s THAT for alliteration 😉

Tosca Reno is brilliant – I own the first of her book series, “The Eat-Clean Diet.” Great resource!

    Good luck studying!

    Hey Jenna!

Where did you get that Wine? Was it also at Super target? I don’t live near a super target but I’d love to find it, it looks delish.

    MLT,

Yep—the wine is from Super Target! I’ve seen it at Whole Foods and Publix as well though. It’s really great…I hope you can find it! It pretty much goes with any food and is very very light and easy to drink!
