It’s about 3:00 here and I started to get hungry for a little snack. There’s no yogurt here (my usual snack) and I already had cottage cheese at lunch. Do you ever feel like you want a snack but don’t know what you want to eat? That’s what happened to me. So, I decided to make a half serving (1/4 cup) of oatmeal. I cooked it in the microwave with 1/2 cup water and 1/4 cup blueberries. When it was done I added a splash of milk, about a half tbsp of peanut butter and a tsp of brown sugar….all for about 170 calories. It was warm, comforting and hit the spot!
Now, I’m going to really try to be good tonight. As of right now I don’t think I will eat dessert. I’m sort of “desserted-out”, if one can be such. I’m sure the desserts will just be standard cookies or pie and unless it really looks special and mouthwatering I’ll probably just forgo them. There will def. be wine tonight (Ryan’s family loves to make “special” drinks but I would rather just stick with a glass of wine), and I’m going to try to stick with 1 glass.
