Hi guys!
I’m so tired right now I’m about to face plant into my keyboard. Seriously. It has been a CRAZY day! I didn’t sit down once at work…was literally running all day long, which worked out because I killed two birds with one stone: work + workout. Awesome. The winery was crazy with Harvest Luncheon plus tons of tours and tastings. It was great but I’m beat. Emotionally and physically.
I packed a jenna-lunch before heading out the door this morning…
A hummus and cheese sandwich on sprouted wheat bread with….a cup of bell peppers. I don’t have any tupperware yet so I carried this little cup of bell peppers in my purse. Hahaha I also had a greek yogurt and an apple…and later an Optimum energy bar. Sorry, no pictures…I was RACING!!!
After work I had dinner with Eric, another Murphy-Goode Top-10’er, and Rocky at Eric’s house in Santa Rosa. Let me just say….Eric is an AMAZING cook!!! We dined on homemade chicken piccata, roasted carrots and new potatoes, heirloom tomatoes and apple pie…with a homemade crust. Food is one thing I’m not lacking here. Oh yeah…and wine. Had a glass of pinot noir and it went perfectly with the meal.
It was seriously a faaaabulous meal. Thank you so much, Eric!
Okay…seriously about to crash now. My last long run is in the morning: 11 miles! It should be…interesting. However, I have a relaxing day planned for the rest of the day + TACOctober Fest tomorrow night to look forward to. Yes, TACOctober Fest….you heard correctly. Details in the morning.
Goooooodnight!
