Breakfast

Easy Weeknight Dinners, Coming Your Way!

Morning!

Today is a big day over here at ELR—the day the second e-cookbook goes on sale! This e-cookbook has about 100 easy weeknight dinner recipes and has been made possible by all you wonderful people. Thank you so much for participating in my fundraiser! The price of the e-cookbook is $10 and to purchase your copy, please make a donation to my Team in Training page and then email me at HelpJennaRun@gmail.com and I will email you your cookbook. If you would like to purchase both the dessert AND the dinner cookbook together, the “special deal” is $15 for both. Does that work for everyone? 🙂

Breakfast this morning was an ezekiel muffin with raw almond butter, raspberry preserves and berries. I woke up freezing for some reason and this was perfect!

Guess I’ll have to get my greens in later now! Remember, the special 40% off of the 2lb container of Amazing Meal is only on sale for the next couple days. Thursday at midnight the sale will expire…indefinitely! So stock up now or forever hold your peace. I stocked up myself and got my dad a ton for Father’s Day! He was so excited!!! 🙂
The drink of the morning is chai green tea, which will hopefully fuel me to write numerous articles, send a ton of e-cookbook emails (hopefully!) and conduct a very special interview this afternoon. Yep, that’s right—someone FABULOUS has agreed to be interviewed on the blog and you will read all about it tonight! I can’t wait to surprise you guys 🙂
Have a great morning!

One more question, and I hope I don’t sound dumb, lol. I would really like to buy the combined $15 e-book, but in a week or two I will be getting a new computer (and becoming a Mac-Girl! 😉 ) and I didn’t know if an e-book was like a download on your computer. If so I’d rather wait until I have my new computer. Thanks!

@Allison: The cookbook is probably a PDF. I assume the Mac will have Adobe Reader.

@Jenna: I have one quick question. Could you give us a few recipe examples from the cookbook? Since I’m a veggie, I was wondering if there are veggie-friendly recipes or ones that can be easily modified. That’s a great idea about combining the dessert and dinner cookbook!

Hope you have a peaceful and productive day. 🙂

Sounds like you had a great weekend! 🙂 I used hemp milk today in my green monster & really couldn’t taste a difference, I’ve got a thing of chocolate almond milk to use next–that should be interesting! And I wonder how the Amazing Meal tastes in comparison to the Green Superfood that I’m using along with the wheat grass powder. Too bad the coupon expires before my payday! 🙁

I’m so excited to get that copy of the e-cookbook! Those berries look so good with that english muffin. yummm. I’m debating on whether to get the original flavor of amazing meal or the chocolate. Is the original flavor good in green smoothies? I tried the chocolate version and it was pretty good, but sometimes I just like the flavor of the smoothie to come out because I love it so much 😀

I’m totally going to buy both books as soon as I get my new debit card in the mail. The other one got cancelled this weekend because my account had been compromised, and I didn’t even know it. Bummer, because I need a dinner idea tonight, haha!

I just looked at your Donation page and you’re so close to your goal – that’s awesome! You’ve worked so hard!

Hi Jenna, totally off topic, but I wanted to let you know that my cat got her head stuck in those grocery bag handles and almost died!! So I just wanted to let you know about that. Now we rip the handles off as soon as we get home! And hide the plastic bags when we forget our reusables- they are very dangerous too! FYI and so your readers with kitties can also learn from my scary experience!

PS. Great fantastic job on all you’re doing- you should be proud!

So, I have to ask. I made myself an Amazing Wheatgrass Chocolate drink mixed with vanilla soy milk, and though it was very tasty, has anyone had any stomach issues from the drinks? This is the second time I’ve had a greens drink and been running to the bathroom, not once but twice! It’s kind of a bummer since I did enjoy the chocolate flavor.

    Hi Jenna-

I love your website! I had my first green Monster this past week. I had one with chocolate superfood and one with wheatgrass…they didn’t have the single pouches on Amazing Meal. Is there a big difference in taste with amazing meal and superfood?

    • jenna
      June 25, 2009 at 10:05 pm

      Kristin,

Amazing Meal has protein powder added in, SuperFood does not!
