Getting That Heart Goin’

Hello!

I am churning away on my to-do list….so far I’ve exercised, done laundry and watched week 5 of my Beth Moore bible study online. And I’m getting ready to go to the grocery store—my favorite! This morning I went to the gym for some much needed cardio. I switched it up this morning and did a series of rotations for a 30 minute heart thumpin’ workout. Here’s what I did:

10 minutes on stairmaster, level 10

10 minutes on elliptical, hill mode

10 minutes on bike, level 10

By the end, I was sweating for sure!  I stretched everything out and headed for home.

Lunch today was a mish-mosh of things because I haven’t been to the store yet. I had about 3 tbsp Sabra’s Spicy Hummus, a multigrain arnold’s sandwich thin to dip, an applesauce with pom. seeds and a morningstar farms black bean burger with ketchup.

I had a tiny square of this for dessert:

It might not have been enough food though because it’s only 2 hours later and I’m quite hungry again. Not good when I’m about to go to Publix—-I’ll wind up buying the whole store!

It must be almost snack time……..

I know what you mean about going shopping when hungry!! It is trouble when I got on an empty (or almost empty) stomach. I tend to buy way too much!

Good job on the cardio today! It always feels great getting back into the swing of things after a trip, eh?

    Hey Jenna,

I made the “homemade” greek yogurt with the method you posted a few days ago. I was wondering if the nutritional information is the same as the plain yogurt or if it would be like fage. Any thoughts? By the way I love it and it does taste just like greek yogurt, but maybe yummier because it is cheaper! Thanks, Katy
