Morning!
Hope you all had a great Saturday night. Dinner was delicious! We went to a restaurant here in Santa Rosa called John Ash & Co...I highly recommend it.
Delicious vino:

Yummy mushroom soup—

(sorry for the blurry pic!)
And I had the special, which was this delicious salmon topped with rock shrimp on top of a blend of Israeli couscous and quinoa. SO good!

Gosh, that wine though…….love me some Ridge Zin. It was unbelievable.
Dinner ended up being quite a long event and we actually missed the movie….sad! I really wanted to see it, too. Next time!
This morning I met a friend for brunch at Bruno’s on 4th. I love this little place! We ate some fruit to start—

And I had one of my favorites that I probably only eat, like, once a year….eggs benedict!

It’s just so good. And now I am stuffed to the brim but have a very happy belly indeed.

Bout to go grocery shopping, hit the gym and catch up on my emails. Have a relaxing Sunday!

mmmm eggs benedict so good! Happy SUnday!
Your food looks delicious as always but I have to ask… do you get sick of eating out all the time? It is awesome for the blog and food interest but I know you have been eating out A LOT since you moved to Cali and personally when I go on vacation or something where I have to eat out all the time I actually get pretty sick of it! I just want to go home and eat something simple, does this happen to you?
Also, eating out is very expensive! Do you get free meals in exchange for putting the links and reviews on your blog?
Kelly Michelle,
I love eating out! Sometimes I do crave something simple but eating out is a lot of fun. Unfortunately, no, I don’t get any free meals really. I wish!
I LOVE John Ash & Co – yummm. You are just the little restaurant-goer now, aren’t ya? : ) Enjoy your relaxing Sunday.
I love mushroom soup! My best mushroom soup ever was in Warsaw, Poland.
I am so jealous of the food you eat over there!
Dinner looks amazing!
Oh, my gosh!! You’ve got to stop posting these fantastic food photos.

I love egg’s benedict. Such a classic and delicious brunch dish. Also, your dinner looks outstanding! Love the shrimp/quinoa blend.
I haven’t had eggs benedict for years! Yum.
ooooh those eggs ‘benny’ look great! A nice treat every now and then
I just love eggs benedict. Yours looks fabulous, and so does your dinner from last night!
Can somebody tell me what’s in Eggs Benedict?!! Haha – I love eggs but never made them this way.
Also, if anyone is interested in the secrets to living stress-free, check out my blog – haha – from Dr.Oz himself
Cheers.
Now that, my friends, is an eggs Benedict!
Oh my gosssssh! That eggs benedict looks to die for!!!
I loves Eggs Benedict! I usually order it without the sauce though so I guess it’s not really a true eggs benedict!! I love going out to breakfast too!
I am giving away a pound of gingerbread coffee from a local coffee shop on my blog if you want to check it out:

Great breakfast! Sometimes you just gotta go for it.
Have a great Sunday Jenna!
that Eggs Benedict looks soooo yummy. what a comfort food
salmon makes me weak in the knees…so does brunch. I want to make brunch a LEGAL must in the states.
Gorgeous food you’ve been enjoying! Sounds like dinner was worth missing a movie for
Hope you had a nice Sunday!
The dinner and brunch look amazing! That is some richly intense eggs Benedict. At least you had fruit before, it negates any unhealthiness of the actual meal..right?
I can see how you’d have such a happy belly! Amazing eats! That fruit plate is practically calling to me through the page. haha
Wow Jenna, it sounds like you had an absolutely fantastic day! Your meals look incredible!
Hi,
I’ve been reading your blog for a while now but this is the first time I’m commenting (I don’t know why but I’ve been feeling braver in this respect lately). I just wanted to tell you that you’ve really been an inspiration for me as I recover from my eating disorder. I really want to thank you for reminding me nearly every day that food deserves to be enjoyed and that while it’s important to live a healthy lifestyle, we should never fear amazing food because we don’t know exactly what’s in it, etc. I’m already 17, but I hope that one day I can be like you (but obviously first I need to get to the point where I’m not incredibly anxious while eating out).
Thanks,
Ava
Mmmm…those eggs look amazing. I haven’t had eggs benny in ages, but now I’ve got a craving!
looks like a great meal and breakfast! love love going out to breakfast!
did this dinner involve a new boy??:)
who is your dinner date?
hahahahahaha no comment
LOL!!! The last two posters aren’t being very subtle! LOLOL Poor Jenna, you KNOW it’s cause we all care!!
Oh but life is to short but to have eggs bennidict once a year. It is my ultimate favorite
My mom makes me eggs benedict twice a year. After Easter and after Christmas… Only to use the leftover ham. It’s comforting to me because my mama makes it
I love breakfast foods!
Eggs benedict are delicious!
Your dinner looks delish! And as someone who lives in NYC, I’ll say there are many times when eating out can’t be helped. So excited for you that you are having such a great time out there!
And see The Blindside!! It’s one of my fave movies this year. I’m hoping to see it again with fam this Christmas. So good!
