Mornin’ Mornin’ to ya
I’m in a very thankful mood this morning.
I’m thankful for: my friends and family, Dexter the beast, delicious food, sunshine, books, the ability to be able to run, bike and play, laughing so hard my abs get a workout, vegan chocolate chip oatmeal cookies, fragrant tea in the morning, the three states closest to my heart (California, South Carolina and Georgia), planes so I can fly around and hug people, cornbread with honey, music to dance and sing to, goofy jokes, Laura Ingalls Wilder, t-shirts so worn and loved that the cotton has worn thin, my stuffed rabbit, the ability to travel to amazing places, fresh fruits and veggies……
and Trader Joe’s waffles!
With maple syrup, egg whites and soy sausage.
What are YOU thankful for?

I love this! I’m going to be off to be joyful now; thanks for passing on the encouragement
That’s the important thing. To find the things you DO have in life and be grateful for them.
Not just dwelling on the negative things or what you don’t have or the jealously over what someone else has.
Be thankful for what you have and then work on what you want in your future.
Acknowledge others and those blessings and move on.
Extremely grateful for my son who born when I was 17, for my mother, and being athletic and artistic by nature. For living in Carmel-by the-Sea, and eventually in Aix-en-Provence since my son is a French citizen and lives in Europe. Grateful for flowers and beautiful trees, for being insanely in love with California and France, Golden Retrievers and cats, for Farmer’s Markets, Whole Foods & TJs as love to cook, and BOOKs. For UCLA, the travel have done, for great film, music, and well-designed things like my Apple laptop, and for girly stuff like charm bracelets and Coco Chanel perfume. And as Jackie Kennedy said am grateful that ‘Above all I am first a woman.’
Awwww great post! =)

Jenna,
I stumbled across your blog last January and I’ve been reading ever since! I spent the year studying abroad in Italy, where I learned to appreciate and LOVE great food, and your blog has reinforced and inspired me to try new foods, restaurants, recipes, and break out some of the pots and pans in the kitchen! (As well as incorporate some exercise in! I’ll be running my first half marathon in October with some friends!) I’m thankful to have discovered your blog, and I hope you continue to do what you’re doing, cause I think it’s (and you are) great! You’re inspiring more people then you probably know!
