Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there today! Your hard work, big hearts and devotion to your families do not go unnoticed.
Mom, thank you for getting me glasses in the third grade. And for sticking up for me in the sixth grade when I got picked on for those same glasses. For not letting me come home from summer camp when I was too homesick to get out of my bunk. For teaching me how to pray. For sleeping next to me for two weeks when I got my heartbroken in high school. For letting me
borrow have your shoes. For teaching me to love books more than anything. For baking with me. For unleashing hell and fury the time you found a pack of cigarettes in my purse during college (WHAT WAS I THINKING?! so not cool). For always having my back. For telling me this soon shall pass. For not letting me drop out of college to go straight to culinary school. For teaching me to always to stay true to myself. For telling me I am perfect just the way I am. For giving me the love of travel. For teaching me that laughter is the most important thing in a relationship.
