Hi friends—HAPPY FRIDAY!!!! =)
Whew! Today has been a whirlwind so far and Bella is almost here for our cupcake baking! I better make this a quickie! This morning I had a delicious chobani with 1/4 cup almond ezekiel cereal and a squirt of agave—
Followed by blueberry chocolate oatmeal later in the morning (along with vanilla hazelnut coffee from the Greenwise cafe!):
Major yum there.
We baked SO much today and everything came out wonderfully. Just one of those days I guess! Bread is so weird sometimes….sometimes it works perfectly and other times it flops for no apparent reason. We like to blame the weather in situations like that! I baked my FAVORITE potato roasted garlic rosemary bread and bought a roll to have for lunch today. When I got home I split the roll and layered inside three slices of deli roasted chicken, 1 slice of pepperjack and a big ol’ squirt of spicy mustard. Then, I pressed it on the stove with a cast iron to get it all nice and toasty sans panini maker! The result? Nothing short of spectacular!
With a yellow plum for dessert:
I’m off to bake cupcakes all afternoon! Bella is SO cute and last night asked her mommy to pick out an outfit for the “big day tomorrow”. Margaret asked if something was happening in school and she goes, “NO mommy! Tomorrow I am baking with Jenna!!! And I am going to get to be on the INTERNET!!!!!” Seriously. How cute is that?! Just for that, we will take tons of pictures and maybe even a little video footage of this afternoon 😉
I leave you with mouth watering breakfast pastries!
Cinnamon sugar croissant:
BUTTER bread :
Cinnamon Nut Bread:
Almond Horns:
Mini apple cinnamon muffins:
Woohoo! Now yall can see what I do between the hours of 4 am and 6 am! 🙂
