Hi friends 🙂
Thank you all so much for your sweet comments and emails today! Seriously, y’all totally make my day. No matter how bad I feel like a day is, I know I can always come on the blog, read your sweet comments and instantly feel better. How awesome is this blog community?!
This evening Anne P came over and brought me vino, which instantly perked me up
Too bad when she was opening it, she totally broke off the cork and we had to perform surgery to actually drink the wine
Needles to say, after two glasses I totally spilled all over myself. Classy.
I snacked on a little trail mix and another juicy plum—
Oh! And Anne brought me chocolates…randomly from the White House. Isn’t that cool?!
We chatted and drank our wine for a little over an hour. Good girl time 🙂
For dinner, I had a quick salad with Boar’s Head maple glazed chicken deli meat, hummus, grape tomatoes and organic greens—
And a homemade whole wheat muffin that Anne brought me!
Twas good.
I’m in desperate need of a super long bubble bath….and the new Danielle Steel book that I bought myself today 😉
I hope everyone has good nights…see you in the morning!

August 4, 2009 at 8:34 pmI have that same green polo tee! I got bleach or something on mine awhile ago, so it’s just a bum around in shirt now. I hope that yours can be salvaged!
Hope everything is ok!

August 4, 2009 at 8:47 pmFunny first comment….I too have a green polo t with a bleach spot! So glad you were cheered up with some vino. I know that can do the trick for me:) I hope tomorrow is a better day. Just keep relying on that scripture Polly sent you or the other thousand ones you can lean on. Also remember Jeremiah 29:11: For I know the plans I have for you…

August 4, 2009 at 9:01 pmHey Jenna- I know you are a huge reader, and I just read in a magazine today (I think Shape) about a site similar to netflix but for books. It is called http://www.booksfree.com. You pay a monthly fee and they send you books. As much as I love to buy and own books it seems like this could be a great way to save money. Thought you might think this was kind of interesting. Enjoy your bubble!

August 4, 2009 at 9:23 pmI’ve been known to murder the wine cork a few times. The worse was when I somehow managed to lodge the cork into the bottle. Made pouring the wine a real task, but I still drank it! (It was a good bottle of wine!)
Before I forget to ask you this, I think I have discovered my new favorite Red Wine…
It’s called Manege a tuai (Sp?!?!). I’ve had it a few times but I can’t beleive how amazing this tastes. Do you know anything about it?
Feel better sweet girl! Hope tomorrow brings you only amazing things!

August 4, 2009 at 9:54 pmYou are beautiful, girl! inside and out :] glad to hear that your day has been going better!
This is abit off topic, but I just discovered this awesome website today. It’s all about how there’s an epidemic of low self-esteem in women. So it’s this project where you do things like leaving post-it notes in bathrooms, the gym, fitting room, tip jars that tell women to keep smiling, they are beautiful! It’s called Operation Beautiful and here’s the link: http://operationbeautiful.com/ I just thought it was such a cool idea. Something so simple as leaving a note can really brighten someone’s day and put a pep in their step. :]
P.S. praying for you! even in life’s worst moments, God is closer than we will ever know.
