Exercise/ Fitness/ Lunch

I <3 The Pit

So, other than doing video-taping at the gym this morning, here’s what I did:

a couple minutes on elliptical to warm up

2 sets of assisted pull-ups, 70 lbs assisted weight

2 sets of triceps kickbacks, 15 lbs

2 sets of standing triceps extensions, 12 lbs

3 sets of shoulder press, 15 lbs

3 sets of seated chest press, 30 lbs

3 sets of seated row, 40 lbs

2 sets of seated barbell curls, 12 lbs

total workout time = 30 minutes

***Disclaimer: I am NOT a personal trainer. The triceps exercises that I did in the video are just those that I do regularly. I have learned the form of those moves from certified personal trainer, but I am not one. Please do them carefully and at your own risk.

When I got back from the gym I made a quick protein drink with 1 scoop chocolate protein powder, some water and ice.

And then later for lunch we went to my faaavorite: PITA PIT! I love me some pita pit! I got the best creation ever: a hummus whole wheat pita with “the works”—meaning jalepinos, onions, pickles, lettuce, hot sauce, olives, mushrooms and avocado. It was magnificent.

It was heaven.

We just laid out by the pool for awhile and now I am getting ready to head back to Orlando! See you tonight!

Your posts have been making me miss Florida in a big way! I only lived there for college but the husband and I both want to move back at some point now. Pita pit and sunbathing, sigh.

Yay, Alli W.! Fight on! When did you graduate?

I was watching the game with some friends who went to Ohio State – and at first we were giving each other so much crap back and forth – but as the game went on, they got quieter… and then I felt bad! Not too bad, though. 😉
