Every day should be Nutella day!
I usually think our culture can be a little gratuitous with holidays. But Nutella is clearly deserving of a day of celebration in its honor! Bring on the hot chocolate.

Huh. Not sure what I think about this article. I mean of couse Nutella isn’t healthy! But I have seen those commercials portraying it as a healthy breakfast and if someone doesn’t do their research I can see how it would be misleading. But then again 99% of the foods that our government tells us are healthy aren’t. (hello $$$ from food corporations) I could make the same aruguement for the stupid “kashi cereal has a much protein as an egg” gimmick. I don’t consider processed soy isolate protein to be the same as a pure protein from an egg. Maybe I should sue them?! Lol.

Last night, I was watching the DIY channel (or maybe it was HGTV)…and there was an actual Nutella commercial. First ever I have seen. Apparently Nutella is the perfect spread from natural ingredients to feed your family in the morning for breakfast.
I must also admit here that Nutella is my absolute favorite thing ever. I love it on crisp apples. I am not allowed to buy Nutella…as I have no self control. Thus, I will fulfill all my Nutella cravings vicariously through you.

Can you believe that I’ve never bought a jar of Nutella? I’ve eaten it before, and my boyfriend loves it, but it’s never been in the house…maybe because I’d eat it all in one day, by the spoonful, without ever making a single one of these recipes?

Nutella has my heart. I was born in Germany (Mom was in the Army) and when we came back when I was 4 my parents hired a German nanny… She loved nutella and first introduced me to it. It was love at first taste !

I’ve actually never have had nutella. For fear that I will be hooked and want to it all day everyday on everything. I may just need to taste it but not have it in the house. That way I don’t eat the jar in one sitting.

Are you kidding me about this?!? Like I needed any excuses whatsoever to consume more Nutella. Regardless, I am crazy excited about this Nutella cocoa idea.
Love it. Sadly though, I can’t keep Nutella in this house. I think I’d just wreak havoc with a spoon and then end up on the floor clutching said spoon in tummy-ache regret, licked-clean jar somewhere beside me. Seriously, it’s like crack to me. And by “I think” I mean “this is what happens every time I buy Nutella”.
When I was traveling in Europe I had the hardest time finding peanut butter (paid way too much when I eventually found it in the health food aisle of a Carrefour in Toulouse) but there was absolutely no shortage of Nutella, that’s for certain.
I’m right along with you. I could care less about the game, just give me a jar of Nutella and I’ll be happy.

Local 11 ten in savannah has nutella crepes on their dessert menu, I highly suggest going back next time you’re in savannah
