There are a few unoaked ones from New Zealand that I do think are good - Kim Crawford is one that is easy to find. I also had a nice one in Calistoga recently, at the August Briggs winery. I guessed that it was a pinot grigio - a total guess since I don't know that much about wines. It was called Iron Horse Unoaked Chardonnay. The second wine we tasted was also a chardonnay and it tasted completely different than the first one, more like most of the chardonnays I've tasted.
