BOY!
Adam and I are thrilled to announce that we’ll be bringing a baby boy into the world this May! When we found out, I was so shocked that I burst into tears – not sad tears at all, just “woah-this-is-really-happening-tears”. I still feel really emotional when I think about it, just because I am so happy and excited. The idea of a mini-Adam running around the house warms my heart like none other and I can’t wait to see father and son together.
I know he’ll love both cooking and building things, that’s for sure! And if he’s anywhere near as handy as his dad, we’ll be set.
Thank you for sharing in the excitement of this blessing with us! I can’t wait to meet the little guy in May.

My son is 16 months now and this post brought tears to my eyes…took me back to when my husband and I found out we were having a son…so much emotion (he’s our first child too)! I cried all Christmas because it was so cool to see him open presents and (more or less) get what was going on…taking him to see lights, the live nativity at church, etc…so special. I can say without a doubt that boys are awesome, fun and so ridiculously sweet to their mammas! Can’t wait to follow along on this journey with you.
