Good mornin’!
Yesterday was filled with lavender, wine and pizza. What more could you ever want and need?
My mom and I headed over to Matanzas Creek, one of my favorite wineries, for a tour of the lavender barn and a tasting. An hour and a half later, we stumbled out with homemade sachets dangling from our hands, a new wine club membership and a bottle of 08 Sauvignon Blanc. Who woulda thought?
And see that pizza up there? Yeah. Take another look.
Beautiful. Simply beautiful. It’s from Peter Lowell’s in Sebastopol in case you were wondering and is topped with fresh local goat cheese, caramelized onions and hot pepper flakes. Be still my heart.
And, there’s more. Fresh herbal iced tea to counteract all the wine drinking we’ve been doing.
We saw Letters to Juliet last night and it was so cute! Totally cheesy and girly but very cute nevertheless. What can I say? I’m a sap. This morning I woke up and made some egg white oatmeal and sipped tea from my cute little mug….can’t believe I’m sitting on an actual piece of furniture eating my oats?!
Got a set of these little mugs (all with different cities on them) from World Market. So cute!
Plan for the day includes church, gym, Iron Horse, sangria, enchiladas, birthday cake.
Oh, didn’t you know? Today is my birthday!

Furniture is a wonderful thing. I missed having it in my first apartment and relished it when I moved int a new apartment and had a coffee table.

Your pictures are stunning! and congrats on the furniture. When my fiance and I moved into our apartment we lived on lawn chair instead of a couch for about three months! So I understand how grateful you feel once you get actual furniture!
