Breakfast

Lazy Sunday Morning

Good Morning!

My tummy feels better this morning but it definitely took a while to fall asleep last night because I just felt so darn bloated and icky. Serves me right I guess—I should have known! Has anyone tried the Amy’s Cheeseless pizzas? I found a personal size one at Whole Foods yesterday and got it for a lunch or dinner this week while I’m home. It looks pretty good! This morning for breakfast I toasted one of the bagels that I found in my parent’s freezer. They are cinnamon raisin sprouted wheat bagels and each bagel packs in 12 grams of protein, 1 gram of fat and 270 calories. 12 grams of protein!! That’s pretty impressive. I slathered mine with a little almond butter and had some fresh strawberries on the side.

Unfortunately my day will mostly be spent in the car because I have to go back to Orlando and pack more stuff for this next week, then drive back here. I’m hoping to knock it out in the morning so I can be back by early afternoon though so I can still enjoy a little of this gorgeous day and hopefully work out later as well. Ryan stayed with at my parent’s last night so I wouldn’t be all alone and we sort of had a lazy morning and, as a result, I missed yoga. Oh well, I have all week to go and it was nice to relax!

If you are talking about the roasted vegetable one, it is absolutely DELICIOUS! (and I LOVE cheese!)

Yes, you MUST try the Amy’s Roasted Vegetable (cheese-less) pizza – I actually did a product review for it, for both GoDairyFree.org and for IATEAPIE.net :0)

That’s the same brand of bagels as my beloved hempseed bagels, that I eat about 6 days a week – yum!

Sorry that you missed yoga; but as you said, it’s nice to just relax sometimes!! Hang in there!! :0)

Amy’s Roasted Veggie pizza is the best pizza I’ve ever tasted (frozen at least). SO delicious! You won’t even miss the cheese.

    Have a safe trip!

    Hey Jenna,

I had bought that same pizza a few weeks ago and honestly I felt a bit apprehensive about it.. but when I took that first bite I was soooo amazed! The taste is amazing and one of a kind… you will NOT be disappointed by it! You won’t even miss the cheese, trust me! But if you do want some cheese, I’d recommend sprinkling some VeganRella on HALF of the pizza so you can get the best of both worlds.

    Have a good day!

Becca A – me too me too! next grocery trip!

Jenna, I was just thinking about how much I admire you and your commitment. Your recognize that taking care of your body is an incredibly important commitment, and also, how committed you are to your family. I know I said something similar yesterday but the qualities that I can tell you posses (even through your blog) really inspire me!

Hey Jenna, hope you and your family are doing well. When dealing with family health issues, one upside I have personally noticed is that it always brings my family closer.
