Breakfast/ Dessert/ Dinner

Living in the Fast Lane

Hi friends! Happy Sunday!

Unfortunately this is going to be a speedy post because I am going to a 10:00 power yoga class (!!!!) with my favorite yoga instructor and its already 9:15. The class is great….its an hour and a half of hard-core power and I’m ALWAYS sore the next day. Chay plays awesome music and we just flow the entire time. I cannot wait!

Anyways, last night was so fun!!!! Ryan and I exchanged gifts (I got him XM radio for his car and he is totally psyched) and then we headed out for dinner and the party. We went to Bonefish, on of our favorite restaurants here in Tampa and feasted. To start, we got the saucy shrimp for an appetizer and I ordered my favorite pinot noir—Mirassou:

I probably ate 1/4th of this and Ryan ate the rest. It’s amazing with a tangy lime/tomato sauce and tons of feta cheese and kalamata olives!

I also nibbled on hot crusty bread and dipped it in the yummy sauce 🙂

(x 2) hehe

Then we split the house salad—

I usually ask for the dressing on the side but last night I totally forgot but it was okay….the dressing was very light and tasty so I didn’t mind.

And for my entree, I ordered a full version of the tuna sashimi appetizer. I TOTALLY should have ordered the appetizer sized version though because I was already pretty full when it arrived and only ate half of this!

It was huuuuuuuge!!!!! Ryan finished the half that I didn’t eat though 🙂

Afterwards we grabbed the check and dashed to the Christmas party we were due at. The drink of the night was Champagne and I had two glasses and one of these amazing chocolate truffles

We had a blast and actually didn’t get home until midnight so I was a little late waking up this morning!

This morning when I finally rolled out of bed around 8:30 I had a classic bowl of oats—-1/2 cup oats, 1/2 cup silk, 1/2 cup water, 1 banana and 1 big spoonful chocolate peanut butter!

Currently I am gulping down coffee (with stevia) and headed out the door. Afterwards I am coming back home to attempt unpacking since you can’t even walk in my room right now and it looks like a bomb went off. See you for lunch!

      Anna,

Hehe! Well, he got me a couple things. The first is that red long sleeve top I’m wearing in the picture. Its from Zara and I LOVE it. Its rare to find a guy with such good fashion sense but Ryan always knows exactly what I like! The other thing he got me is a this towel/pajama warmer contraption since I am ALWAYS freezing!!! I LOOOVE it!!!!! Seriously, I sleep sometimes with a hot water bottle in my bed and my goal in life is to be as comfy as possible. This towel warmer is from bed, bath and beyond and is like a mini dryer that you plug in and put whatever you want warmed (pajamas/towels/socks) inside, press the button and in a few minutes its like putting on clothes straight out of the dryer. Amazing. He also bought my plane ticket up to North Carolina next weekend 🙂
