Hey guys!
Just got home from dinner at Anne P’s house!
We had an AWESOME dinner! To start, salad with avocado, olives and cherry tomatoes
A soft sweet Parker house roll—
And then for dinner, macadamia encrusted Mahi with risotto and green beans. SO good!
I probably ate half of the mahi, most of the risotto and half of the green beans. Everything was truly yummy. I love nut encrusted fish…this was slightly sweet and very crunchy!
Vino—
And of course, dessert!
This was a parfait with whipped cream, orange sherbet and fresh berries. My kind of dessert…I loved it!
We, of course, were stuffed afterwards so I walked with her and her parents down near the water and on the pier. It was seriously windy…note to self: don’t wear sundress in severe wind
I’m about to get in my jammies and read. I finally put everything away today and set up my room!
Obviously this mature 24 year old sleeps with stuffed rabbits. Gosh. When I fall asleep at night I like to stare up at my map and plan my future trip around the world

Cute bed!!! Keep on dreaming of traveling the world… I know you will do that one day! =)
I LOVE your room! So whimsical and girl – just the way a room should be.
That dinner looks seriously to die for – fish is one of my favourite foods in the whole world, and the idea of having it encrusted with macadamia nuts? Bliss.

What countries would you add to the “round the world trip”?
Lets say if you had to choose 6??

That print on the wall next to the bed is so pretty-it reminds me old antique scarves my grandma had.

Your room is adorable — very “Jenna.”
Well this mature 24 year old still secretly likes the Disney Channel. We all have little kid things we hold on to. It keeps us from taking ourselves too seriously!
Awww the room look so sweet!
Dinner looks amazing! I’ve never tried nut-crusted fish before, but I’ll definitely make it or order it soon
You two are such gorgeous ladies!!! What a lovely dinner. I have to say that dessert looks AMAZING.
What an adorable room! I love how the map is right above you so it’s the last thing you see before falling asleep. Too cute!
Aww, your room is so cute!

What a fab dinner!
My childhood bedroom has a huge map on it too where I used to do the same thing. It’s such a good way to fall asleep- dreaming about all the possibilities in life!
I would love to travel around the world! And try foods everywhere! Your dinner looks really good and orange sherbert for dessert = AMAZING!

Ahem…26…stuffed dog in my bed right now…
Glad you had such a nice night! And your room looks ADORABLE.
Sweet dreams!
You can never have too many stuffed animals! Or pillows for that matter! No matter how old you are. Problem being I don’t have room for stuffed animals ‘cuz I have a big fat white cat that somehow takes up half the bed!
Mmm that nut crust sounds delish–I should use it on tofu!
No shame in the bunny love.
I’m living with my parents (also 24) and will be doing so for at least the next year, partly to save money while I’m in grad school, but also because I’ve been having health problems and need the support. And I sleep with my teddy in the bed every night – if something makes you smile and gives you comfort, why not.
Hey, I’m 33 and married and I still sleep with a bunny! Nothing wrong with it at all.
Such a yummy looking dinner, and I am totes loving the room pic!

Looking forward to reading the book/or novel you will write one day about food/good eats around the world through your future travels.
For me I would enjoy it being a part diary type blog plus foodie book
Hmmmm whatever it ends up being about,it’s gonna be a great read!
Are you still planning surfing/lessons/trip one day in memory of your brother?Hope being around Mikan and Mikie(and of course Dexter) brings you the feeling of your brother’s love.I am sure your beloved John is sending you comfort through the rought tides as well as a thumbs up in the smooth waves.
What a fantastic looking dinner! That salad really stands out for some reason, but it all looks fabulous.
What a fantastic dinner! I’m all over that roll – yum!! I sleep with stuffed animals too
what a fabulous meal! glad you had a good time with Anne and her family!
hahaha…i think if i saw your room without knowing who it belonged to i would assume it belonged to a 7 year old girl.
i used to have a map in my bedroom too…well…back in the pre-college days when i lived at home, i mean. i could stare at a map all day i think.
btw, i reallllly hope you rock that wet suit at the summit cocktail party.
I realize this room is reminiscent of your own childhood. But, the design is something that I would choose for my own daughter’s room. It’s so sweet and whimsicle. It must be comforting to be back home
Your room is toooo cute!
That fish looks amazing! I’ve never tried cooking fish with a nut crust, but I’ll have to try.
And your room looks lovely! I would so have a stuffed animal on my bed if my cat’s didn’t always pull them down (thus leaving them with the dogs to rip apart!). And I love your map – it must give you great dreams!
K
What a cute room!
The Mahi looks really, really good! The whole meal does…love risotto and avocado on salad
Also, I love your room! It makes me smile…and the map- wonderful!!
Love all the photos. I’m going to post the salad photo on my FB page credited back to your blog. Assume that’s OK, if not, please say!
My son went to HS in Aix-en-Provence. You’d love it there and that would be a great place to take pictures. There’s a large ex-pat community. Maybe someday you and a friend could rent a small apt somewhere like that and have another adventure! BTW he loved it so much that went to grad school in Paris, became a citizen and never left.
PS-The pix of you and friend toasting looks like the poster for All-American Clean-Cut Girlhood!
Your room is awesome and so peaceful looking. Keep your head up because there are great things to come for you missy! You are a star!
