Hey guys!
Hope you all are doing well this evening. I just got home after my shift at the studio and had a glass of some deeeelicious Murphy-Goode Fume. I love that wine.
I spent a big chunk of this afternoon cleaning out and going through all my stuff. I found some interesting journals from back in 05-06 and it was interesting to read about the stuff that I used to stress out about! Seriously, I would get hung up about the stupidest things. It’s crazy to go back and read your thoughts years ago then put together the puzzle of your life. I also found all my journals from my time in France and that was crazy to read as well!
I snacked on a waffle with almond butter and apricot preserves—
And then I had a late dinner of a slice of leftover lasagna
Goooooodnight!

Can’t wait to hear your exciting news!!! And definitely agree on how caught up you can get in reading old journals– it’s so neat to see how far you’ve come along after only a few years. We have to make the most of each moment, which I think you definitely do!
I always find my old self interesting to look at, even if it’s just a few months ago. I swear we all age faster than we realize
Can’t wait to see the surprise
mmm that leftover lasagna looks superb! I love reading old journals.

Have a great night!
Reading old journals generally makes me cringe – sometimes I’m just so embarrassed by my old selves! – but it’s also fun to reminisce.
Can’t wait to hear the big news!
Anyone else having trouble with the comments? I just posted one but it’s not showing up.
can’t wait to hear your exciting news! Leftovers look fantastic
apricot preserves sound lovely!
When I moved out of my parents house I found my diary from when I was around 12-13. I used to write what I wore and if any boys looked at me that day. So embarassing!
Great dinner!
You totally got the veggies in your lasagna!

Have a wonderful evening.
I had that same surreal experience when cleaning things out before our last move. I found a journal from an outdoor hiking and climbing trip I went on right before my freshman year of college. So strange to see what I was thinking at that time and how I dealt with the injury I suffered on that trip. Hard to believe that was me and funny to remember that time.
That lasagna looks mouthwateringly good! I am determined to learn how to make some here in the near future. But, I’m not sure if I can find everything I’ll need at the store here.
Ah can’t wait to hear the good news!

That lasagna looks really good. I never miss veggies.

Funny, some days I crave giant bowl of veggies for dinner. Others, I want nothing to do with them!

Hi Jenna! I am new to your blog and let me tell you, I’m hooked! I love your positive vibe and yummy recipes. Actually, I liked all your meals and snack concoctions that I did a shopping trip yesterday around the goodness I saw on your website – thanks for inspiring me to eat better! And Nutella? Oh my gosh! I had heard about it before but never tried it until last night. I think its my most favorite thing ever created (besides my kiddos)!
Good luck with your marathon!
Kimberly
i love the looks of your lasagna!!! Can’t wait to hear all about you new news!!
Going through old journals is the best thing about keeping them! It’s so awesome to see how you’ve grown, because you don’t realize it since you hang out with yourself every day.
Every once in a while I put together a healthy meal, then realize it has no veggies. On those occasions I just stuff a bunch of spinach leaves in my mouth while I’m cooking, and my wife wonders why she married me.
Can’t wait to hear the news!
