There’s no way I could possibly complain about eating my baked beans again tonight. They are SO good! I’m happy that I froze a couple portions of them as well because they are the type of thing that defrosts fast and tastes great! Tonight I paired some baked beans with bulger wheat (my obsession), kale chips and cherries. I mixed my beans and bulger together and the combo was quite delicious if I do say so myself.
I lucked out at work today because it was a cooking class day at Roy’s and the pastry chef had leftover watermelon granita that they made for the class’s dessert. It was like a gourmet snow cone and was delicious but left me feeling quite cold afterward. Good thing I remembered to pack my green tea to warm me up!
Tonight we are making a Charlotte Royale and taking a quiz. I’m pretty pooped so I’m hoping for an early night. I will be bringing a pb z-bar with me though for snack later!

May 29, 2008 at 2:19 amHey, I’ve never commented before but I read all the time! Anyway, I was just wondering about the kale chips….do you buy them or make them? And if you make them, how? And those cherries look great! I just had some after dinner tonight!

May 29, 2008 at 3:09 pmWow, what an awesome meal you have there… I’ve never tried kale chips before, are they any good? Just another question, I can see that you have many plates that are the same as Erica from Sweet Eats, is that just a coincidence?! Have a great day anyhow!!! 🙂

Haha that’s funny 🙂 i’ve collected my eclectic dishware collection over the past years that I’ve been in college. Some from roommates, some from target and some from anthropologie. I guess its just a funny coincidence? I hadn’t noticed that we had some of the same stuff though.
