I MADE IT!
Now, finally a day off tomorrow after working almost 24 hours in two days. Bah. Tonight I made SIX desserts instead of the one I made last night. It was quite the improvement. My station was all set up at 7 and I was ready to roll:
I made four chocolate desserts like the one I posted last night and two of these apple desserts:
Thats a mini apple oat tart, a scoop of calvados ice cream and a mini caramel apple, all with cider caramel sauce.
I took more pictures of savory items as well tonight…because they looked SO amazing!
Here’s the caesar salad:
The wedge salad:
And, last but not least, the lobster potpie. I would be all over this!
Yep, our culinary team is very talented indeed! Our executive chef was actually named executive chef of the YEAR by the American Culinary Federation a few years ago!!!
In regards to my dinner, I really liked the Kashi meal! I was surprised and pleased that it actually filled me up! Usually small frozen dinners seem to go right through me….this was very filling for only being 300 calories! Regardless, I dug into the a-m-a-z-i-n-g maple nut clif bar a few hours later π
I’ll see you in the morning!
ooh! Forgot to add that I made more bagels today!!! There was leftover dough so I made two mini bagels to take home. Perfect for snackies!

November 15, 2008 at 9:32 pmI love how cute and miniature that cute apple dessert is! I feel like that would be the perfect apple “sampler” dessert to split just to have a sweet taste. π I’m also thinking I may have to add bagels to my list of baking projects to try. Can’t wait!

November 15, 2008 at 9:38 pmLove the presentation on the apple desert. Well, I also love apple anything, but it was cool. Thatβs a cesar salad. Wow! I thought it was some strange new veggie sushi. Man, I would love to eat at the club. Bet you can’t wait for Adam to be back.

I know! The caesar salad is amazing looking…and that’s actually blanched leeks that forms the “wrap” around the romaine. I guess when you blanch the leek skin it becomes pliable! How cool is that?! And YES I can’t wait until Tuesday when Adam comes back!!!!!
