Opposites Attract

Good evening!

This afternoon I made the best green monster creation!

IMG_4854

1/2 banana, 1 cup soymilk, HUGE handful spinach, squirt of agave, 1 tsp maca, small handful frozen blueberries and a couple ice cubes….I think maca is the secret to success—I felt like I had just drank a double espresso!

Dinner wasn’t quite as healthy….

MMmmmmmmmmm RoundTable veggie pizza. Major yum.

I had this x2…and I’m considering now (1.5 hours later) going for a third piece because I’m STARVING again. However, I think s’mores might be in my future so I’ll hold out…;)
Have a good night!

Love me a good GM!

Did you order an entire pizza all for yourself, or did you dine with others? ; )

I need to get my hands on some maca! The last time I spotted it at WF’s it was the size of my savings account…maybe I can find it online?

wow! That pizza looks absolutely incredible. I don’t know how you could only eat 2 pieces. For some reason pizza never seems to fill me up enough no matter how many veggies are piled on.

I keep hearing about maca all over the place! Everyone makes it sound so tasty and healthy, I just might have to try some.

oohmygawd that pizza looks so amazingly cheesy. i feel like a lot of veggie pizza skimp on the queso, but that looks like melty perfection

Have to say don’t like RT pizza….from living in San Francisco spoiled with gourmet pizza places so now wherever am always Yelp pizza to find best. But that GM looks & sounds great!
If in The OC [Newport/Balboa/Laguna/Dana Point] or going there 22-24 April might want to check out this wine/gourmet food event. http://bit.ly/b2Z44t Am sure lots of Napa, etc wineries participating didn’t look at the list.

I would eat the whole pizza in one sitting. And no shame in that. Shame and guilt would be a waste of time!
I hear good things about Round Table – must be a California thing.

That pizza looks awesome! Look at all those toppings! And do you make your green monsters in your Vita mix? I’m still trying to perfect mine! I’m glad I didn’t read this post last night, I would have gotten up out of bed and made s’mores! So now that you have reached your count, are you going to be editing like crazy now? Or still writing trying to balance it all out?

…and please, pizza is not “unhealthy”…;) even if it is slathered in cheese.
I applaud you stopping at 2 pieces :0!

I think the health benefits of that awesome looking green monster neutralize the greasy yumminess of that pizza. At least vegetables were involved! Oh, how I miss Round Table. They have the best gourmet veggie pizza.

Great job on that 20 miler, lady!

I never feel an ounce of guilt eating pizza as long as it’s veggie. I’ve tried making my own veggie pizza and it’s always turned out to be a catastrophic fail! :) God Bless delivery!

I’ve never heard of this Maca stuff, but of course, now that I saw it on EatLiveRun, I’m going to have to try it! :)
