The Super Bowl is on Sunday if you haven’t heard!
Now, I’m not that big into NFL football, but since my moms from Wisconsin I have to represent. And by represent, I mean cook a lot of party food and then stuff my face while I pretend to know what’s going on.
Sound familiar? Of course not.
I have a few recipes up my sleeve for the remainder of the week that will be part of our Super Bowl feast, but as I sat online this morning looking for food to expand my waistline, I couldn’t help but become inspired by all of yours!
Here are a few of my favorites:
Walking Tacos from Picky-Palate! Such a fun idea I never would have thought of!
Chili Dungeness Crab Dip from Seasaltwithfood. Dungeness crab season is my favorite time of year in California..this looks fabulous!
Loaded Nachos from Twopeasandtheirpod. I love everything about this recipe.
Layered Buffalo Chicken Nachos from How Sweet Eats. I clearly have nachos on my mind…and for good reason! Jessica, can you come make me these? Please?
Sriracha Honey Buffalo Wings from White On Rice Couple. Anything with sriracha and I’m down! I can’t get enough!
Butter Toffee Crunch from Tasty Kitchen. I love how simple this recipe is! Plus, I’m a sucker for anything with toffee (hint hint get ready for tomorrow)
Pimento Cheese Sliders from Taste and Tell. Pimento cheese brings me back to my roots!
Self-Frosting Nutella Cupcakes from Playing House Blog. I don’t know how she came up with this…but it’s pure genius.
Crispy Baked Panko Sriracha Chicken Tenders from Savor the Thyme. More sriracha! I love it and the sound of this healthy(er) chicken tender recipe.
I’m also including a rather shameless plug for my old fashioned banana pudding, barbecue pulled chicken, buffalo chicken dip, buffalo chicken wontons, cheddar wafers, sweet and spicy barbecue baked beans and wal-mart crack cookies.
I’m off to cream some butter.

What a fun round up of recipes Jenna! Thanks for including my walking tacos!!
How about some Homemade Oreos for the Super Bowl?

That top picture of cookies looks pretty amazing. So much delicious sounding football food!
I will make you buffalo chicken nachos if you cheer for the steelers!
I am in pittsburgh after all!
I sososo wish I was going to be home for the Super Bowl so I could make some (all) of these! I’ll be traveling back from Michigan and will get home to St. Louis around halftime, to a house-full of people that I’m sure my boyfriend will provide plenty of Tostitos and salsa for (eyeroll).
All these recipes sound fantastic! – I never would have thought of the walking tacos, but it just makes so much sense!!
Great ideas! We call walking tacos Frito Pie
I have seen the posts for about half the ladies you linked before you linked them here…and it all makes me want to get in my kitchen and make nachos! Or toffee. Or Nutella.
The buffalo chicken dip you make…I want to make that for my hubs. He would be in dip heaven!
Cant wait for your toffee post
Those are all really good recipes! I am extremely partial to Buffalo Chicken and make a mean buffalo chicken dip…I make it for almost every party and there never ceases to be a crowd of people hovered over it
That banana pudding looks AMAZING. Thanks for “shamelessly plugging” it. I’ll have to be making it STAT.
Hi and THANK you for linking to my nutella cupcakes! I’m not too into football either, I just like it for the food
they look divine!
This is the one that stood out to me! Must check it out!
And Jenna, do you cater!!!
Banana Pudding is one of our holiday favorites. I put a link here just so you can see how I like to make it. My dad used to make it with milk but I got him to start using vanilla pudding just to keep the cookies harder for longer if it’s in the fridge for a day or so. Mmmmm.

Hi Jenna!
I’m excited to cook for the super bowl, and I have to say that I am kind of a fan of football
Question: I was going to make banana pudding for all of the non-vegans attending our get together, but am reluctant to because last time I made banana pudding I followed the instructions EXACTLY but my bananas came out black and mushy looking.
I realize that bananas cook very fast, is there a trick to making the pudding without ruining the bananas?
hmmm…that’s a good point! When I make this pudding, I slice the bananas immediately before I use them. That way they only are exposed to the air for a few minutes!
Okay, thanks for the tip! I think mine may have been out for too long while I prepared the topping
Oh my. Feed me now!
Wow – great job on the round up! and thank you for the sriracha chicken tenders feature!
I having been talking about your buffalo chickem dip for weeks! I’m talking it to the Superbowl party I’m going to! Trying to score those boyfriend points too!
Mmmm these all look so goooooood- and definitely waistline expanding! But I’m banking on the fact that watching the football players run across the field will count as a fantastic workout.
That banana pudding sounds delish!
Can I come over your apartment for the game?! Yum!
I made the Buffalo Chicken Wontons a few weeks ago and they were A-mazing! The bf loved them! Making a new batch tonight for my company superbowl party
ah thanks for all the chicken recipes, my boyfriend has requested chicken wings on Sunday
I almost cried when I saw this… my mama’s banana pudding is the BEST. Well, sort of… she uses boxed Jello pudding and cool whip, but it’s what I grew up with, you know? I have to try the foodie version at some point. <3
Also, the pic of those chocolate chip cookies on top? Is that from your recipe you posted on 1/21-ish? With the caramelized butter?
nope! These are chewy and are made with regular butter..not browned. The recipe can be found in my recipe journal.

Sigh. Killing me here. Two chocolate chip cookie recipes and the whole world is on a diet. I guess Ima hafta eat em ALLLL by myself.
Thanks!
Yay for party food! This all looks delicious. I plan to make my “Popcorn Laced with Crack (aka bacon, chocolate and caramel)” for the big game:
Recipe for it is here!
As always, thanks for the deliciousness Jenna!
I was ordered to bring your buffalo chicken won-tons to the superbowl party i am attending. I made them for New Years and everyone has been craving them since. thanks for making me so popular with my friend’s taste buds!
I still have to make your Wal-Mart crack cookies… crack is a tough addiction to break.
Awesome list of recipes, thanks!
OMG – the banana pudding….drool
Is it possible to “visually” gain pounds? Not that I’m worried. They all look/sound fantastic and more than worth it!
Most of our friends (and my husband and I) don’t really care about football, so we are having an “Un-Super Bowl Party” instead! Basically an excuse to watch movies and eat Super Bowl party food.
Ha, if I was not stuck in a tiny, tiny dorm/apartment, I would throw a Superbowl party and cook ALL of this!!
Great selection of recipes! We’re planning to make our traditional layered taco dip, cut up some fresh fruit, stir up some guac, don our black and gold and cheer for my hometown Steelers!
this is a GREAT resource for eating like a pig, i mean a king or queen!

xoxo

Fantastic recipe round up! I’m partial to the nutella cupcakes and banana pudding, but the savory dishes sounds delicious as well!
Great list of party foods! I am hungry now! Thanks for including our nachos!
I totally make that butter toffee crunch! I just had it for the first time on Christmas when my sister-in-law made something gluten-free for me to enjoy! She’s now my favorite person ever
Great recipes, Jenna; perfect for game day!
