Lunch

Potlucky

Hi!

I hope your Sunday is going beautifully. Mine definitely has. Church was awesome (you can listen to the sermons online here!) and afterwards there was a potluck of sorts so I got delicious food…can’t beat it! I also discovered my mega love for peanut butter and jelly larabars….I had half of one during the service this morning (got really hungry!) and WOW…….SO GOOD!!!!!! Like, better than good…as in pretty much the best thing ever. I’m so excited I finally found these!

Lunch was yummy too…nothing like homemade food at a potluck. It was a little crazy, but I got some meatballs, garlic bread, salad, tuna salad and a bite of pasta

And I totally snagged a homemade chocolate chip cookie that went into my mouth way too quickly for a photo! oops! 😉

I’m just relaxing for the rest of the day…but that’s what Sundays are for, right?!

Shrimp scampi for dinner…..might go hunting for some Murphy-Goode Fume to go along with that….we shall see!

The PB&J is quite tasty, isn’t it? I think Cherry Pie still wins my heart, but PB&J is right up there.

    Happy relaxing Sunday, Jenna!!!

I don’t do the church thing anymore, but I did always love the post-service food gatherings when I was a young’un. Especially the ones that involved cookies and juice. 🙂

    Have a great sunday!
(Have been looking for the jar of pumpkin mix, but they only sell it in the US I think…I so wanna try the pumpkin oats. Do you think I can make it with plain pumpkin myself?)

Glad you had a great morning! I’ve heard mixed reviews on the Peanut Butter and Jelly Larabars, but I haven’t been able to get my hands on them to try them for myself yet. Good to know they have your approval though!

I love all things peanut butter and jelly, so the pb&j lara bars were one of my most sought after items this summer. I was so excited to find them! Enjoy the rest of your Sunday and congrats on the awesome 7 mile run yesterday. Hooray!

I still have not had the chance to try that flavor! Now that I’m in Australia, I think it’s going to be another 4 months til I get that chance 🙁

I love Potlucks, because if it was up to me, I would just have a small sample of many things for my meal. I usually can never decide what I want to eat :).

Nummy sounding dinner you have ahead of you, enjoy!

Mmm homemade cookies…salivating at the thought. I just devoured a medjool date with almond butter to try and satisfy my ravenous sweet tooth but that sounds amazing right now! Sundays are indeed for relaxing! We’ve been grilling in the new backyard all afternoon, supping beers. Hope you really enjoyed some relaxation!
