Polly,

Usually I don't buy all organic produce. I WANT to..but right now I don't have a choice because its so much more expensive! I would say if you are going to buy anything organic you should focus on fruits that you eat the skin of, such as apples, pears and grapes. Other fruits, like bananas, aren't a major focus because we peel away the thick skin anyways!

Hi April,

In the past I have mainly done power yoga with some ashtanga mixed up in there. You def. break a sweat and its pretty cardio-based! That was in college when I was sometimes doing yoga classes 6 X a week. NOW, however, I don't have any time for anything so when I do get to a yoga class I will usually go to a bikram class on the weekends. But its pretty sparse and I would say I can only get to one or two a month right now. WHen I move back in September I fully plan on joining a yoga studio and practicing a couple times a week again.

Hi April,
I am pretty sure Jenna takes Ashtanga classes. They are pretty athletic and usually about 90 minutes long (at least) to go thru the whole primary series. I am a yoga teacher and I loooove it, and keep trying classes til you find one that fits you best! Some are more gentle and some are completely crazy hard and you'll leave dripping sweat. I like all kinds but I'm partial to a light hearted fun flow with challenge like Baron Baptiste's style. Hope that helps!

p.s. Jenna, do you always buy organic fruit/veggies? I am trying to, but my wallet is hurting if I do that... I guess I do about 50% organic. Just curious about what you do. Love your blog! :)

I had posted a question a while back but i'm not sure it ever got answered! what kind of yoga do you take? I took a class the other day and it was just a lot of stretching and poses. Do you take a different kind or is this one still a good workout?
