Remember When

by jenna on December 2, 2009

Morning!

So, yes, I apologize about whatever technical difficulties y’all have been having when ordering wine. I was told that all the kinks were worked out but, obviously, they are not…shipping is supposed to be free so when I go to work today I’ll take action on fixing that!

This morning I had some coffee while I wrote for a little while, early, and then made a big bowl of oats a little later.

1/2 cup oats, 1 cup water, 1/2 scoop protein, 2 tsp maca, 1 banana, pumpkin butter, almond butter!

I’m off to write a little more and then head to the gym before work. I leave you with this “candid” photo of Christie and I, a year ago, trimming the tree. I’ll never forget that night a year ago because that was the night of my company christmas party and I got soooooooooooo sick. We were laughing the other day that a year ago I lived in her house with her parents…and she lived in New Orleans.

I’m so excited for my friends to get here tomorrowwwww!!!!

If I didn’t know you were on your way to a party, I would have though hey, those girls are pretty dressed up just to trim a tree. I think I was in track pants last weekend doing mine.

I love decorating Christmas trees. It’s just the best and will never, ever get old. Couple the tree decorating with the smell of baked goods in the oven, some sort of cheesy Christmas music, egg nog, and I’m a happy camper.

I also love almond butter in oats, but that’s been established. Hope you have a wonderful visit with your friends!

Be more patient and accepting to God’s word in my life
ride my bike whenever and wherever possible to cut down on gas and energy and get more exercise!
go deeper with my yoga practice and know that it is a perfectly acceptable form of exercise
Eat for pleasure!
get involved with a Church in Tampa and volunteer with youth group
start and stick to a savings account
expand blog and really work to make a living by writing
finish first draft of my book
check out more books at the library
get involved with Junior League in Tampa
Join a women’s bible study and make more Christian girlfriends to pray with

haha. it’s funny how things change, huh?

Hey Jenna! I LOVE LOVE LOVE my MacBook Pro. Totally worth the money. I had the MacBook and the white got so dirty and cracked and was not enough memory. My husband bought me my new Pro about two months ago and it is FANTASTIC. Worth the money. And ask about discounts — Mac gives discounts for everything. Good luck! Katie
