Almanzo and I are hitting the road today for spontaneous little getaway. There will be music, food and a few surprises to come your way.
Unfortunately the weather isn’t supposed to be that great, but it just keeps with the trend of our previous trips together (see here and here). We sort of make it a habit to drive right into storms….
I don’t know what that means.
We’ll be back tomorrow with a full report of all the shenanigans that will be taking place…stay tuned!

October 23, 2010 at 10:09 amYou’re hair is so blonde and long in that last photo. Both short and long seem to suit you.
Sounds nice. My days lately have been long drives, long sleeping (all day long), and eating. I don’t know how you keep up such energy. I hope someday I feel “normal energy” like that again.
Right now my life is a lot of carbs (I found yummy tortillas and breads, and I eat the same ones for lunch sandwiches and wraps all the time – I ought to start mixing it up!) and a lot of sleeping. Like I basically wake up, eat and sleep all day. I want to do more, but my energy is sapped. All I do is sleep.
Its so not cool (or normal). Hope someday I get back some normalcy and have cute boys to road trip with (preferably rich cute boys).

What do you want others to say here really…? Your life and thoughts are what you make of it. Negativity is draining…

October 23, 2010 at 12:35 pmI’m NOT being negative. I’m only making a comment. YOU seem to jump on ANYTHING I say.
Its really not a big deal.
Stop looking for things that are NOT there.
(And I do believe you are a prime example of negativity, no?). Appreciate what you have – you don’t realize how blessed you are. Not until you lose it( really lose it, not think you lose it).

October 23, 2010 at 11:13 amGaah hahaha that first picture is BEYOND amazing. It totally reminds me of that good old game The Oregon Trail. You know, where you would have to cross the river and half of your livestock and food provisions would be lost in the process?
Since I’m sure that won’t be happening, have an awesome time 🙂

October 23, 2010 at 9:42 pmI actually just came back from a spontaneous road trip from Watsonville, CA (20 min south of Santa Cruz) to Sonoma. The weather was really crappy 🙁 but it didn’t start raining until I hit San Fran. Because I took some detours on the way (I drove on CA 1-N the whoooooole way), I only made it to 2 wineries, boooo.. but still fun!!
