Breakfast/ Lunch

Rock My Face Off

Hi guys!

This is going to be a quickie because I’m about to skip off to Sarah’s house for bible study! How’s your Thursday going? I love Thursdays because it means FRIDAY is tomorrow!! =)

This morning I had a toasted Kashi Go Lean waffle with pb + preserves: YUM!

And then I decided to switch it up a bit for breakkie. I packed overnight oats! Last night I soaked 3/4 cup oats with 6 oz water, a sprinkle of salt, cinnamon and a few craisins and then this morning at work I mixed in a Chobani, a spoonful of peanut butter and a HUGE handful of blueberries!

Very yummy and satisfying! Great for a nice change up from the usual chocolate peanut butter oats

Ryan came to visit me at work today!! =) It totally made my morning! He came and bought some of my all natural blueberry and apple cinnamon muffins for his office and I was very surprised to see him there! Later, he text messaged me to tell me that everyone loooooved the muffins!

I left work a couple minutes early because I stayed a couple minutes late yesterday and they are very strict with IT HAS TO BE ONLY 40 HOURS AND NO MORE! rule. Fine by me! I was starving anyways and came home to make my favorite sandwich: 2 spoonfuls garlic hummus, 3 thin slices deli roasted chicken breast and one slice pepperjack on homemade sourdough

No really. This sandwich totally rocked my face off.

I’m off to Sarah’s house to watch the third video of my Beth Moore Esther bible study series! Then it is the treadmill for me….I was hoping to run outside but we are in the midst of getting a major cold front and it is windy and *blustery* (haha) outside! I will see yall for an early din-din!

Something pretty to look at—-our braided egg bread!

Oh man, challah is so good. I used to get it every single when my brother and I were in grade school, and then again when I was a camp counselor at a Jewish day camp. Only about half the loaf made it home, usually. Addicting!

The bread looks delicious, as do the overnight oats!! How’s it taste with the PB stirred in? Usually I just use the PB on my spoon and try to eat a little with each bite to make it last, but maybe this way is more effective??

      Michelle,

I’m way too much of an impatient eater to have a little on the spoon and savor it. Unfortunately, I am totally one of those people that justs INHALES the food in front of me. That’s why I love to just stir it in and DIG IN! 🙂
