Lunch

Sandwich and Caffeine

For lunch today I made the most wonderful sandwich. I stopped at the Fresh Market at bought a freshly baked Rosemary-Olive Oil Bread and some Muenster cheese. When I got home, I toasted the bread in the oven under the broiler with the cheese and some leftover turkey from last night (the one I carved!). I then smeared on some Dijon mustard and added baby spinach. It was fantastic! I had a pear on the side then went to work on my cappuccino…which I am sipping right now. It’s okay…I need to make a few practice ones before I really get it right. I used 2.5 ounces of 2% milk in this, which was the perfect amount.

My entire lunch, cappuccino included, was about 456 calories. The perfect light meal that my body was craving! I’m going shopping with my mom in a little bit and hopefully hitting the gym later on!

Mmmm cappuccino! That’s such a nice gift, and I know you’ll be using it often! I am also in a recovery day. Christmas food WAS delectable but it’s nice to get back into the whole, natural, organic food routine again. I know my body appreciates it! Enjoy your day!
