Many of you have asked about the little bible study I’ve been participating in via Instragram and Twitter the past few days. This is the creation of Maggie and Kacia and it is definitely not too late to get involved! What started out with two women has now grown to hundreds of women…all finding encouragement, friendship and community online.
To get started, download the Soul Detox plan via YouVersion. Every morning we are sharing our thoughts and journal clippings on Instagram and Twitter using the hashtag #SheReadsTruth. I can’t even begin to tell you how encouraged this community has made me….and how it is changing my heart. We are currently on Day 10 but it’s not too late to catch up! Plus, YouVersion makes a handy dandy little app for your iphone so you can really do this plan whenever/whenever.

I am not religious, but I am strong believer in finding love and support in a group that supports you. I know sometimes atheists/agnostics are critical, but how could you disagree with anything that brings love and kindness to someones life. Keep following your heart it’d served you well so far!

I agree completely. I’m tired of bitter, apathetic people, atheist or of any other system of beliefs. I think it’s great when people can get involved in a group that encourages people to better themselves. The world is an awesome place.

Saw this on Twitter, and now here and just downloaded the plan! Question though…can we post to Twitter/Instagram if we’re behind? I’m going to work to catch up as quickly as I can, but am in the process of a cross-country move and know it might not happen as soon as I want. I don’t want to be distracting in the social media platforms…
