Breakfast

Silky Oats

Good morning!

My shin feels a lot less sore this morning (my dad gave me Tiger Balm and I slathered it on) but I still have a headache unfortunately. My headaches usually don’t go away at night and while I slept great, it was still there when I woke up. I just took some medicine though so hopefully it will go away soon!

This morning I made some more creamy oats on the stove. I think its the vanilla silk that makes it so creamy and delicious. This morning I used 1/2 cup oats, 1 cup light vanilla silk, 1 banana and 1 spoonful almond butter.

We are going to go the gym in a little bit. Lifting weights actually helps my headaches go away if you can believe that. I’m heading back to Orlando after lunch because I have to stuuudy! I have my first big exam in wine tomorrow where I have to memorize all the major grape variatals, all the white wine from France, all the white wine from Germany and the process of making Champagne. The exam is 50 questions and, from what I hear, quite difficult.

See you all after lunch–enjoy your Sunday!

I forgot! Here’s a picture of Mikan from last night!

I went to USC, so I was pretty ecstatic last night – sorry! I do kind of wish it had been a more interesting game, though.

    Hey Jenna 🙂
The best way to determine if you have a stress fracture for sure or not is a bone scan; if you need to know what else may be going on instead of a stress fracture (i.e. bone tumor, inflammation, etc) then an MRI is appropriate. MRI’s may be more expensive though, you’d have to ask your doc. Hope this is helpful, feel better soon. I’m out of commission myself right now due to some mild achilles tendonitis, a shoulder tendonitis of some sort, AND an upper respiratory infection 😛 So I’ve been lounging and resting since about Thursday; I feel your pain!

I love making my oats with vanilla Silk, too. Bummer about the OSU game, huh? Hopefully the team will recover and play well the rest of the season.

Oh dear!! GOOD LUCK on that exam!!!! For the life of me I can NOT get the French wine information into my brain- can NOT!! I have been wine tasting/learning for YEARS and the French stuff just goes into the Brain Vortex – poof! Inexplicable! Part of the problem for me is that they don’t classify by the varietal or GRAPE (like New World wines) but the region or worse the VILLAGE!!! Argh!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!
