Wow, I am definitely having one of those mornings where I just cannot seem to wake up and get my day started. I guess I could lay around for as long as I like since it’s my day off but I feel the need to do something at least! I woke up at 7:30 and made a kashi go lean blueberry waffle sammie with almond butter, banana and raspberry preserves for breakie:
I had some coffee, watched a little of the Today show and then I went back to bed to read for another 45 minutes…and now I feel like I could fall asleep again and stay asleep all day! Its pouring outside so that may have something to do with it…..
I must gather some energy—-more coffee!

October 8, 2008 at 2:29 pmI hate when you feel tired like that, I know the feeling! I hope you get a second wind today:) The rain seems to make us so lazy, why is that?

October 8, 2008 at 2:49 pmJenna if your body is telling you just to sleep all day-do it!!! You are constantly running and on your feet all day all week. Your body probably just needs to take a day to recoup and maybe later on today it will be ready to get up and move. Right now just relax and get some sleep.

October 8, 2008 at 3:23 pmHi Jenna,
I just wanted to tell you how much I love and look forward to your blog each day! I have learned SOOO much by watching you make healthy decisions amidst a busy schedule. You have shown so many people what it actually looks like to eat intuitively, in moderation and with pleasure all while being healthy! Thanks, keep it up!!! PS – I have yet to try one of these waffle sandwiches but I must say they look delicious! Have a great day!

October 8, 2008 at 4:28 pmLadyLara,
I’m waiting on receiving my trip agenda before I know how much free time I’ll have but I would LOVE to plan a get together…even if its just for coffee or something! I’m trying to plan an early flight in on Friday so I’ll have Friday afternoon (November 7th) to relax (SHOP) before a dinner I have to be at. Sunday morning is another option! I will keep everyone posted!!! 🙂

October 9, 2008 at 4:03 amJenna, you are having an amazing journey, best of luck with your internship. I worked with your Mom at Ballard Designs, I lost her phone number, tell her that I finally put my two week notice in. 😉 Banana bread is my favorite, can’t wait to try this recipe.
