Well, I wasn’t really all that hungry, but I’ve been cleaning like a mad-woman because my roommate is coming back tomorrow and I want the apartment to look all nice and clean for her, and so in the process I made a little dessert.
I’m still working on perfecting the art of making a cappuccino in my new espresso maker, so tonight I made a small decaf one. It turned out a little on the weak side and ended up splashing me and the counter with scalding hot milk…..so, I only drank a little bit of what you see in my mug. The rest I just tossed. It wasn’t worth it! I did however, eat half of my favorite gingerbread cookie that I bought at a bakery I love while I was at home. I’ve had these cookies before on the site…they are HUGE and I love them because they last me 2 days of dessert! Getting them is always a special little treat 🙂
Tomorrow I have to work all day (10-4) answering the phone and making reservations at the restaurant. I like working the day shift though because I get to pack a cute little lunch to take with me! I’ll wait till tomorrow afternoon to show you what I packed but I’m already excited about it! Seeing as I will be at work until 4, my lunch post will be later tomorrow—around 5 probably.
Okay—back to cleaning up all these Christmas decorations!!
I would say this dessert was about 90-100 calories. Light, yet hit the spot!
