Exercise/ Fitness/ Lunch

Starving!

Yoga was very powerful this morning!

I sweat, burned and panted my way through it because it was a very difficult strength class! I’m so glad that I got up and went though because I feel great now! For lunch I stopped at my favorite little bakery/cafe and got a sandwich for lunch. I picked the blackened salmon sandwich with avocado and greens. There was mayonnaise on it but I told them to nix that, saving hundreds of unnecessary calories. This was a pretty large sandwich with pretty thick bread (but amazing soft homemade french bread!) But I ate the entire thing! I was starving after yoga and the sandwich was SO GOOD! I’m guessing it around around 500-600 calories probably…a lot of those calories coming from the thick, soft bread. Hopefully that will keep me full for awhile though and it’s a gorgeous day out here so I think we might go and walk around for awhile.

Have an amazing saturday!

And yes, that is WHITE bread I am consuming here….I seemed to have done something to my throat (I swallowed my pizza too fast the other night and it seemed to have burned the back of my throat–i’m serious…sadly) and this was the softest bread they have. Plus, all their bread is homemade so it’s a lot better than just supermarket bread.

Wow! I emailed them (http://tampabaydlites.com) and they said that they have never been asked that before! I was surprised! Anyways, they said that they would be happy to send me a few pints if I am willing to pay for the packaging and dry ice (in addition to shipping!). Well, I am an ice cream fanatic and just have to try it, so of course I will pay for it! haha I was just wondering what flavors you would suggest? Was the snickers last night good? Have you ever tried the white choc. raspberry, 3 muskateers, yellow cake batter, maple fudge, coffee caramel or ……wow they all sound amazing! haha I am really excited if you cant tell! lol Thanks for any suggestions!

Oh my gosh you are too funny!!! That’s awesome though!! You will love it! D’lites is a relatively new place in town that opened up just as I was moving to Orlando so I have only been there a few times when I’ve been home…So far my favorite flavor I think has either been the chocolate-peanut butter or the cinnamon graham flavor. SO GOOD!!!!! The snickers was pretty good but didn’t seem to snickers-like..more just like milk chocolate. It was REALLY good when I added some chopped dark chocolate to it though! I think the cake batter sounds really yummy too! They don’t offer all those flavors at the shop, unfortunately, because they have certain flavors of the week..about 5 different kinds every week. None of those have been featured when I have been in but I’m sure they taste amazing because i have never been disappointed!!

I’m excited for you!! haha 🙂

Ohh man I would def jump on the bandwagon and get them to ship to me. Keep us updated on how much extra it would cost but I am sure it depends on where you are shipping it to. I live in NY so I am not sure what the difference would be but def keep us updated.

Hey! This is so funny and exciting! lol She told me that the dry ice and styrafoam cooler will cost about $10-$15. Plus the shipping and the cost of the ice cream! She also told me that I could choose from any of the flavors of the week (posted on their website), which is like 20 flavors! They all sound amazing! I emailed her back and asked her how much each pint was and how many pints would fit into a cooler. I also asked how much shipping would be to Houston, TX. I will keep you updated! They are very nice and helpful!
