Cheesecake Factory was a success!
I ordered the vegetable chopped salad without cheese (on all yalls recommendations!) and it was SO good! And huge! Especially for a “small salad”. If that’s a small salad, what in the world are their “big salads” like?! I came close to finishing it but couldn’t because it was huge and we ran out of time. I also ordered a glass of red wine and had about 2 1/2 slices of that amazing, hot brown bread they have at the table. Also, my friend ordered the lettuce wraps and I made one without the chicken, with the peanut sauce. Yum! My only complaint was that the service was reallyyyyy slow and we were almost late for school because of it. Next time we will stick to less commercialized restaurants.
The meal was soo delicious and I wouldn’t hesitate to order this again next time I go. I was surprised at how much it filled me up. A couple hours later though in school I did snack on my nana’s cookie bite I had brought with me along with a black twizzler (one of the girls in class brought a package of black licorice in for use in her project and I swiped one!).
My dessert project went really well…so far! I’ll know for sure tomorrow when I unmold it and that will be the final test. Everything went smoothly though tonight as I baked the sponge cake, did the ganache and made the chai bavarian filling. Let’s just hope it sets up for tomorrow!
Thanks everyone for their great restaurant suggestions—it really helped! 🙂
