Dessert

Sweet Ending

For a dessert tonight I had 2 of my chocolate almond biscotti with a cup of hot cocoa (1 cup skim milk, 1 tsp cocoa, 2 tsp sugar). It hit the spot and now I’m ready for a bubble bath, reading and bed. Sadly I’m not too much of a football fan….I like the cool commercials and the half-time show though (LOVE tom petty and the heartbreakers!!). I created a new FAQ page tonight where I will post questions that you all have along with my answers…some of those questions are old but I picked the ones that everyone seems to be asking over and over. Thought it would help to see them all in one place and you can also search using key words in the search button to the right! Let me know what you think! 🙂

Hey! Just checked out the FAQ page= ingenius!!! Continually impressed by your ingenuity and thoughtfulness, as always. I’m not a big football fan either, but definately love Tom Petty, but now that that’s over…. off to eat and relax (EARLY morning- and I’m not as much of a morning person as you, haha). Thanks for everything always. And, as someone currently struggling with recovering from disordered eating I totally appreciated your rant and know that you understand about the calorie/’last 5 pounds’ thing and how hard it is being a young woman among todays standards. It’s just so weird that a number can mean so much- especially when how much one ‘weighs’ looks different on everyone (even two people of the same height and weight!) and fluctuates nearly every day! Now that the best part of the superbowl is over my grandpa is taking me out to italian food, and I am taking a leaf out of your book and am going to try to just ENJOY it and not stress myself out. Thank you for your constant inspiration.

    Hey Jenna,

Thank you thank you thank you for being REAL! The concept of eating when you are hungry and stopping when you are full is so much easier said than done: so many of us have trained our minds to stop trusting our bodies and instead of embracing food as fuel fear it as an evil source of calories and weight gain. Knowing that you have been there and overcome this is truly inspiring and only one of the many reasons that I love your blog!! Yay Jenna, you rock 🙂

    Jenna,

I plan to make your smoothie tomorrow (already froze the banana!). I know some people add oj to their smoothies. Do you think that adds alot of flavor or just extra calories (I was thinking like 2 oz, so I am not sure if I would be able to taste it)

    Amy,

I dont usually add oj because I like my smoothies to be more creamy than juicy…..my typical smoothie = a little plain yogurt, a little milk,1 frozen banana and some frozen strawberries!

    Marnie,

I LOVE hummus and tabbouli wraps! You will like my lunch today! 😉
