A picture says a thousand words and this is all I am going to tell you all about today’s event till I post the full recap in the morning!
We had a lot of fun! More to come tomorrow! 🙂
My mom and I stayed until around 3:15 until our driver my dad picked us up. Of course we had to stop at Derby Lane to place a little bet on this evening’s race on the way home—
I placed a $5 bet to win on Mine That Bird for my brother because he’s just the kind of long shot John would have loved. Too bad he placed second! 🙁 I was very happy to see the girl outrun the boys though, I have to admit.
Once at home, I snacked on half an apple since the other half had a huge bruise and I wasn’t too hungry anyway from eating my way through the festival today.
And then for dinner I just picked up Indian…my favorite! I got super spicy channa masala with garlic naan—
I love this place because they have the spice meter right on. I asked for medium and it was perfect—-so spicy I almost cried. Just the way I like it 🙂
I’m stuffed beyond belief right now after a major day of indulgence, as you will soon see! Its rainy outside and Ryan and I rented The Da Vinci Code tonight since he’s never seen it and I’m seeing Angels and Demons with my dad tomorrow afternoon.
Have a wonderful night everyone—see you in the morning!

Indian food is A-MAZING! I just found a recipe for gluten free naan. I’ve never had naan so I’m pretty excited to attempt to make it!
Have you tried Ethiopian food? I had it for the first time yesterday and it was brilliant! There’s an Ethiopian restaurant called Queen of Sheba in Tampa that I can’t wait to try. If you call 24 hrs. in advance they make the Injera bread gluten free! How fab is that?
Have fun on your daddy day date tomorrow!
