The other day, I alluded in my post that I was “traveling to a very far away land”. Well, it’s true! In about a week I’ll be headed to the U.S. Virgin Islands to attend the St. Croix Food & Wine Festival!
I was invited by the resort as part of the press, and will be writing about the festival and all of the yummy Caribbean food, ingredients and recipes that I come across. I’ve been to the Virgin Islands once before in high school and I’m beyond excited to go back…and share some of my experience with y’all!

And Divi Resorts…there is a chain of Divi Resorts in Aruba and I have had friends who have stayed there and some of them are timeshares and have friends who own there, too. I know you’re gonna love it. I mean, free trip to the USVI, how could you not love it? 🙂

Here are a few of my top restaurant picks – Eat@Cane Bay, The Pickled Greek, Lalita’s, Tutto Bene….ok, I could go on. Since I work for the National Park Service, I must make a plug for Christianstead National Historic Site and Buck Island. I can’t wait to read about all of your adventures!
