January 4, 2011 at 5:47 amI love reading about your trips home because this is my home, too! I recently took my Mom to lunch at Palmetto Bluff and the views were fantastic. Did you happen to see the little cemetery along the water that was just for their DOGS?! It was such a fun find, and one we both talk about a lot. There are so many fun places to explore in the area, and I just love the Lowcountry.

January 4, 2011 at 6:06 amI didn’t see that!! How fun! I’ll have to tell my mom about that one.

January 4, 2011 at 11:11 amAbsoutely beautiful photos of the family and the charm of your new home city…makes me long to hop on a plane right now to visit Savannah! (Why have I never been there?!)
I especially love the snapshot of you and your Dad – your resemblence and twin pensive expressions scream father and daughter. The photo taken when you turn to glance behind you while walking on the dock is so provocative, perhaps, frame-able?
Thanks for sharing a taste of home, Jenna!
