Yikes, what a MONDAY!!!!
When my alarm went off this morning at 3:10 I was in a total state of shock and denial. I don’t think I have EVER wanted to stay in bed SO much. Regardless, I tore myself from the nice warm cocoon and to work I went. I snacked on a banana and peanut butter in route:
I had the usual oats for breakfast around 7:45—-3/4 cup oats, 1 cup skim, 1/2 cup water and a big spoonful of chocolate peanut butter:
As well as a nice big orange—
I also enjoyed a cup of my favorite tea! I needed a little boost this morning! 😉
12:30 couldn’t come soon enough today! Unfortunately I have a headache, which I am accumulating to my lack of sleep and early morning. 🙁 When I finally got home, I threw together a little lunch plate consisting of a slice of potato rosemary bread with Sabra’s hummus and a piece of boar’s head provolone along with a vanilla oikos and a pear
Mmmm I just love this potato rosemary bread with hummus! Its like a match made in heaven 🙂
I’m having some technical difficulties with my blackberry right now and have been on hold for a looong time (hate that!) so I am going to hopefully finish that up and then do some yoga to ease my migraine. My mom is making my favorite linguine with clams though for dinner tonight so I’m looking forward to that!
See you in a bit!

February 9, 2009 at 1:23 pmI have been looking for a good black tea for my husband … he loves the stuff but has trouble finding a fairly priced good one. I will give this one a shot.
Potato rosemary bread? Sounds yummy, is there a recipe up on your blog?

February 9, 2009 at 2:21 pmAlisa,
No, sorry! The recipe is from “The Bread Baker’s Apprentice”—-a cookbook I use at work!
K,
I really like mine! It is expensive though….I’m trying to wheedle my price down by doing a set minute plan instead of unlimited. I like getting my emails (and blog comments!) on it though!

February 9, 2009 at 2:53 pmThe only thing that would make Sabra hummus better is that bread. Or more hummus. Or both.
